These are the players and potential victims for my upcoming S.A.C. Darwin Awards Contest 2009 entry.
About this creation
I believe I warned most of the players, with a couple of exceptions. So I hope all of you are fine with your upcoming roles. If not, then too bad, so sad, suck on a lollipop (as my daughter likes to say in jest).
The vast majority of us are going to die, including myself; however, there will be a survivor or two. Why have any survivors? So there is someone to relay the story to others, and warn them of the dangers of mixing alcohol (ETOH) and various activities. How could one live forever in infamy if the story isn’t told. People have to laugh at the stupidity – heck, one might even end up on MythBusters.
Anyways, just working on the last big prop for the final scene. This technically one of the most difficult pieces I have every tried building. Must have tried a dozen different things so far – noe of which have worked yet, but I will get it done.
As for the post of the actual entry? It will be soon. Likely closer to the end of the month.
As for the few who will survive? I will leave that up to the good people of mocpages to decide. Some of these fine builders fate’s are already decided (sorry JD), but there will be a list that you will get to vote from to determine who walks away – scarred for life at the horrible events that have occurred, but still able to warn the rest of us mouth-breathers who walk the face of this beautiful planet.
I will allow for several days for the vote, then I will post the final scene and the survivors – likely on the final day of entry – May 2, 2009.
I have been avoiding looking at most of the entries so far, as I would like to go through them all at the same time. So I just wanted to say that if I end up posting a scene that is similar to one of yours, then it was likely by coincidence. Great minds think alike, or fools seldom differ, whichever statement you feel applies better to you. However, if I do for some reason gain inspiration from one of your postings, then I will certainly give credit for the same. If people can trust me with their lives, and the lives of their loved ones, then you can trust me to do the right thing. That being set clear, I would like to say that I gain inspiration from all of the great builders on these fine pages. Therefore, it is likely that a good portion of this upcoming entry will have been inspired by fine creations I have studied in the past.
Without further ado, I present the cast:

You should make my sigfig! He's not that hard. Also, you should check out my classic wooden stadium! It is my best MOC. |

It appears that my battleship has dodged your triple guns, Mr. Lee. Can't wait to see what happens! I would have loved to see myself die though. I guess we can't always gt what we want... |
