Skipping and tipping alternate for LEGO set 8264 Articulated Hauler

About this creation

Inspired by the very nice skipper/tipper truck of techn0m0ves, i tried to modify the hauler of set 8264 by adding skipping and tipping functions. Here is the result.
I consider it is a pure alternate, because apart from a rubber band only parts from set 8264 are used.

The truck can both empty the container by tilting it as well as leaving it to come and pick it up later.

The arm has a special hook arrangement.

The instructions for building it yourself start off from the original LEGO model and show the modifications to arrive at the Skipping and tipping version. You can also get back to the original from this one by following the instructions in reverse.

Awesome, I can't wait to get my own... although it might get taken apart the next day lol... I mostly get sets for their parts. and I had no luck finding the lego technic bulldozer anymore.

Hey Josh, good to hear you also enjoy this set. It will be weeks before i have the time to picture taking it apart and uploading. So i am afraid little or no firing up... How about you recrating it yourself from the photos? Either way, good luck and happy building!
