Thor II by Biczzz, 2008.
About this creation
The Thor II is another one of my trial vehicles.
It has:
- Steering;
- Four wheel drive;
- Rear stabilizer;
- Limited slip differentials (front and center);
- Lockable rear differential;
- The cabin can be lifted for easy maintenance;
- Remote control thanks to Power Functions;

The first version:

The first evolution:

With this version I won second place in Comunidade 0937's first Trial competition.
That competition took place at our 2008 Club Meeting and was featured on Brickjournal 4 vol.2.

One of the best trucks I've ever seen. The bodywork looks pretty plain and easy to build, but you made a master in disguise! Underneath the bodywork there's integrated a lot of technology. Respect for that dude!

Heeey nice that you won the second place for this! Anyways I hope you don't mind but I have a critique I'd like to say. Anyways an interesting way of solving the 4x4 problem without the Lego ready-made parts for such a system but I bet the gears are overpowering the system that holds them. In other words I believe those gears separate after some driving because they are not connected to firmly onto the wheel base. Just keep watching, in a while now I shall post my own 4x4 off roader base with much stabile system so you can use it if you like...
