14 Truck is a 2005 Seagrave/Aieralscope Midmount Ladder. This truck was origanally going to be a Mid-Mount Platform but due to the changing needs of Truck Company 14, the truck was refurbished into a midmount Ladder without the bucket by a local dealer. this was because Truck comany 14 wanted something thats ladder could fit in a window in order to facilitate HazMat operations. The truck is equipted with a fitting on the nozzle of the stick that will allow a 3in hose to be attactched to either fight fires or feed a Decontamination Unit in a Hi-Rise. Stationed with Batt 2, Medic 15, SOC 1, and Engine 13. 14 Truck is the First Truck Company due to Brickville for mutual aide. Also 14 Truck is a HRU Truck. The HRU (Hazmat Response Unit) Trucks and engines carry additional equipment to handle Hazmat incidents.
Wow, Great job on this one Paul. But does Seagrave make a Midmount Aerial? The only way I can see that possible, is if it were A Seagrave cab on another body. And, to answer Jessie's qt., as far as I know, ALF, KME, Pierce, and Sutphen make Midmount Aerials. However, I'm not sure about companies such as Ferrara, Crimson, E-One, or anyone else. Once again, great job Paul. Keep up the great work and I love the color scheme.
