Matrix APU
The APU from the movie trilogy Matrix, Matrix Reloaded, and Matrix Revolutions. Great movies.
About this creation

As you can see here this is one of two of the APU's weapons. It is armed with two 30mm machine guns. The guns have bullet belts coming to them from magazines on the back of the torso but I had nothing that could do justice as a bullet belt so I had to leave them out.

Here you can see some of the detailing I put in on the side of the arm. This is probably the most detailed MOC I have ever done. I think it turned out good.

The same arm from the front. Looks pretty cool doesn't it?

The hydraulic cylinders that raise and lower the arm. Its all for show though, it doesn't actually move because the cylinders don'y slide.

Here you can see the back side of the APU. Spent alot of time figuring out how I wanted to do this. I couldn't find many pictures of the rear so it was a little tricky.

The legs. Well I spent close to two weeks just getting the legs to something I liked. They are fully function able, lots of movement.

As with the legs I spent long hours on the feet. They too have lots of movement, all toes on front back and sides can move.

The pilot's seat was a little tricky. The joy sticks he is holding are used to control both legs and arms in battle. The cool thing is that when he's controlling the arms where he moves his arms the arms of the APU follow. To walk he has to click a little button on the joysticks and then lift his arms up and out to make the feet follow. This makes the APU walk where the pilot wants to go. If you watched the third Matrix you will see alot of action with the APU's.

Dunno if you have this, but if you could wire in a spider droid's belt. if you could raise a bit in the arm two flats, they would work perfectly.

Quoting mithryl dlarix Definitely the best version of this I have seen. I have one little tiny gripe: all its missing are the ammo belts--that would totally complete the picture!
Yeah I know they would perfect it but I have nothing that would do justice as ammo-belts. Thank for the comment.

Nice work! This is very accurate to the movie and very well detailed. The design also looks just as sturdy as the ones in the movie, which is a big plus with mecha. Great job!

Quoting Space Pirate This looks awesome! Great use of technic parts and I especially like the whips in there. Really creative ;)
Thanks, I only have 4 black cables which I used in there and I needed more so I thought the whips would do great so I used them. Glad you like it. Thanks to all you other guys too!
