FQ-1A Avaelin Heavy starfighter
The Avaelin starfighter was a fearless fighter of the void.
About this creation

The heavy guns alone were enough to bring fear into the hearts of anyone on the opposite side of where these were deployed.

But it wasn't just the guns. The engines and particularly the armour made this one of the most successful fighters in space.

One of the best things about this starfighter was that only one pilot was required, making it cheaper to operate. The pilot also did the navigation and the firing, helped my the onboard computer systems.

Quoting Steef de Prouw the 'black hole buster' It was a huge ship, but it was in minifig scale. It only held two minifigs. The rest of the space was taken by enormous power sources and force fields that were needed to keep the ship together while travelling through black hole singularities. It was basically a very bulky fighter, able to jump in and out of pieces of space and do some serious damage. The fighters of the opposite camp wouldn't be able to follow it through the black hole it jumped back in. I've been wondering if I should post it on here, since I do have some pics of it.
I do in fact recover older stuff from time to time, I hope to see that ship someday :)

Quoting Marcus Forsberg Incredible! Great overall design and just on spot amount of detail. I love the texture the studs bring to this one, like bolts or rivets keeping the hull together. Perfect!
Mmm bolts. That is a very nice thought. Thanks.

Quoting Alan Crisp Very successful use of tires as engines without looking like spare tires on the back of the Isuzu Trooper. And nice details with the overall hull of the ship, and nice attention to color and appropriate parts in the right color. The guns are also refreshing --> a step away from the now cliche technic pieces, even though you stepped back to the older standby of using round bricks. Still, refreshing.
Cheers man! I'm pretty new here, so I have only a slight idea of what is cliché and what is not though.

Very nice. Looks like the ship was built directlu around the main guns :)

Very nice -- good shape and good use of color. I would hate to put up my Interceptor against it...maybe I could use some stand off weapons such as a remote missle bus if this thing ever came around!

Very cool fighter! Love the dark red color scheme and the oversized guns flanking the cockpit. Interesting use of pieces for the engines too.
