This is a satellite I made when I was idly looking through a box of lego. I saw the solar panels, and decided to make a satellite to blast junk outta the sky.
About this creation

The underside of the satellite, showing the laser and the ion drive.

The panel removed, exposing the electronics.

After the Manilla shuttle disaster in 2027, in which a piece of space debris collided with the space shuttle Texas, caused it to lose orbit killing all 7 crew and a further 231 when the wreckage crashed into Manilla in the Phillipines, the M-1 Orbital Laser Satellites were dispatched to prevent a repeat of this catastrophe. 20 years later, the M-16s came out, sporting even more powerful 58-gigawatt lasers to completely vaporise space junk. In other words, DON'T GET IN IT'S WAY WHEN IT'S FIRING!!!

Simple, yet purposeful. A cool follow-up might be a Reagan-esque "Star Wars" satellite for blasting enemy missiles out of the sky. Or better yet, a Tiberian-series-style "Ion Cannon" orbital bombardment laser.

Funky!

Cool! If you make a second version, you should base it on the drilling rig in the new star-trek movie.

This looks pretty cool man! Extremely simple, yet cool design. Good job. Check out my MOCs. I think you'll love them.
