About this creation
When I first saw this car, I immediately fell in love with it even though it's a concept and won't be mass produced. I was originally tying to make an old cobra from the late 50s or early 60s but I just found it too hard. Even though I thought this would be impossible to make at minifig scale, I ended up figuring it out. I'm proud of it and all the detail I got at this scale although I still think it's too long. Feel free to express your critisism!

Thats One Sick Car!!!! I Love The Detail You Put In It Sterling! Oh By The Way, Are You The Real Sterling Knight From Sonny With A Chance And Mackenzie Falls?
No, not by a long shot. There just so happens to be an actor with the same first and last names as me. Plus he's not talented enough to make something like this, at least not out of his acting. :)

Shannon may be right about the complexity of the techniques, but the end result is still pretty darn cool. I know minifig-scale vehicles can be very challenging to get right. Great job, and highlighted on Brothers-Brick.com. |

You've got some crazy inventive parts usage going on in there to achieve the look you wanted. Almost to the point where it looks like it was done for its own sake, not because it was necessarily the best way. I sometimes think we get too addicted to fancy brickplay without considering why we're doing it. Sometimes simple is best. But I didn't try building it myself, so I don't know. Maybe simple wasn't an option. It does end up looking good. Could wish for a sportier color, though -- you got it in red?
Hey, a lot of it's beauty in detail came about by acciden't when it was the only meathod I could use. On the front bumper you see I used those minifig backpack peices. That was the only way I could get the shpe perfect. Then I realized that there are little light gray protrusions in that exact spot on the real thing! This car was meant to be made in LEGOs. |

I can't offer any criticism because minifig scale cars are not something I have any experience with. I can say, however, that from the perspective of an outsider like me, it's great. Not amazing, but not many mocs are. |

I was just inviting someone to MOCcomparison and I saw that Heather, and Dave and Stacy Sterling were invited. I was confused because I couldn't remember inviting them. Then I remembered. Sterling's an Admin too! So do you think they'll join? I'm liking the new buddy icon. Did you do anything to the picture? Or did you just put a white backround behind your fig. |

These arent big problems and I love this MOC but you said to say my criticism so I think maybe...Some opening doors and trunk...And I kinda don't like the gripping arm windshield (but its original.)
What I do love is the front and back and the interior! Amazing dash and way to do the "mouth" of the front.
Great job! |

One of the best 6 wide cars that I've ever seen! very good model for a great car, I love this car as well... nice technique for the windshield, but you need to slope it a little bit more, and great overall shape, but as a guy said below, a little bit thick, need to lower the whole body one plate, but still a GREAT MOC! keep up the great work >>> peace.. Bravo! As your first posted car, you did an outstanding job! The '04 Shelby seems to be one of the hardest cars to build out there. I'm in love with the colors you chose, and the front end is perfect! Those new city fenders added to the curviness; a nice touch :) Also, great job at using that mini backpack piece. My one complaint is that the car is a tad long, as well as a little blocky, but I don't see a way to avoid that, so still, 5/5. Excellent work; I'd like to see some more 6-wides form you! *winks* |
