This is my first real intricate battleship. I'm quite proud and energized for more.
This is a Valkyrie class Battleship. I'm not real good with scaling so I can't really give you a number but it's just a little smaller than a Venator.
Forward View. I think the contore-ness of the ship came out good. There are random dips but more over it's pretty good.
Top View. The overall shape came out as I planned which is good and needed.
Side view. This is a good shot at all the guns. In the front are 4 (2 on each side) large plasma orbital turrets. Followed by 6 (3 each side) double barrel plasma turrets. Ended with 6 single barrel turrets. The 2 heavy plasma cannons are also viewable on the main deck.
Engines. I'm not real good with engines so I just put on what looked good. They're alright, nothing too wrong.
Back end (don't know the term) battery. Just in case some other ship were to decide to shoot the engines out there is some fire power to counterattack.
Main plasma swivle cannons. They can turn 360 degrees and lift to 60. They're good for anything you want to shoot at...except the brigde.
The Bridge. As Commander Fed pointed out in High Ground, you lose the bridge you lose the ship. Well the Valkyrie is no different except there is extra defence for that occasion. On top the bridge there is a small shield generator and gun. Not top of the line stuff just extra support for the bridge in combination with the other ship defences.
I do like this bridge. It really gives it a notable appearance.
I didn't know how to bring the sides to an edge at the front so i didn't and plugged the inside. I came out better than expected actually, as you can see. It gives it an extra uniqueness, but it kinda looks like a bass.
Hanger door closed.
Hanger door open. Valkyrie is really only made for the transport of small fighters (Blood Tranfusion) or other small transports. It's main focus is to attack other large ships but the ability to have an army in an army is better.
Long shot. I just like this picture. It put the ship in a different perspective.
this is my first real LEGO project worth speaking of and I'm speechless. It came out pretty good for a first time. I don't want to take it apart but I know I must for there are some good pieces on it.
