New Republic fighter nicknamed the Peacekeeper used to unsure no threat came come to the galaxy again.
About this creation
The Peacekeeper, the perfect name for the perfect ship that fulfills all the needs of the New Republic. The Peacekeeper is intimidating- big, fast, highly maneuverable, and highly deadly. Its multitask mission allows the Republic to produce large numbers of the ship from any Republic world, and ensures that pieces and parts will remain extremely easy to find in case maintenance or repair is needed. In fact, it has so many advantages that it is the preferred fighter of non-Republic forces, such as rebels and pirates, and many highly customized Peacekeepers have been seen in outlying parts of the galaxy.

The standard Republic version seen here has 3 weapons: a nose-mounted cannon that is used mostly in atmospheric operations, but can be used by experienced pilots in space combat as well; a wing-mounted torpedo tube; and a heavy repeater cannon at the extreme end of the wing that can penetrate most shields with relative ease- this is the main weapon used.

The Peacekeeper is fitted with a hover-coil, a band under the cockpit section, which allows the pilot to exit the vehicle even in hostile terrain. Under regular conditions, the Peacekeepers rest on a special stand, many of which have popped up around the galaxy at police stations, landing docks, and military instillations to accommodate individual world squadrons and security forces.

Peacekeepers utilize two separate propulsion drives: one is the enormous Maelstrom mark V hyperdrive engine, making Peacekeepers the fastest single-man fighters in the galaxy- this enables them to arrive on the scene of trouble extremely fast; the other engines are a trio of Syszzik Seven innerspace engines, the farthest of which is mainly used to counter the influence of the hyperdrive engine, which must be turning on low power during innerspace flight. All engines are fitted with vector thrusters that allow for an insane degree of maneuverability giving the craft the edge in almost every space battle. It has been rumored that ingenious mechanics have discovered a way to configure the Maelstrom mark Vs for use in podracing, but no evidence of this has been confirmed at this time.

The sheer size of the ship is due to the necessity of countering the weight of the Maelstrom, and as such, the designers were able to add in many features including strong shields and extremely long-range communications. Power cells are also quite large to ensure they can run for extended periods of time.

I know this is a long time ago, but this is awesome! The overall shape is great, and the layout is very unique. Great job! -Ultra

Some suggestions: 1, make the section devoted to greeblies a thruster complex(like Millenium Falcon);2, make three thrusters on side heavy missile tubes and smaller: 3, put greeblies around astromech (for maintenance purposes). Great job, though!

Oh my God. Who are you, and where did you learn to build like that? Very good job. Me likes.

Nice job. I really liked the nonconventional use of pieces such bionicle arms in the engines and the pistols on the controls. Using blocky legos to recreate curved ships is tough, but you pulled it off. Again, great job.

This is quite simply, awesome. With so many of us continually making symetrical ships and constructions, you've really broken out of the mold and made a beautiful creation. I hope this can inspire a whole new type of design in the future.
