That will be a nice venator, but those fleets symbols or whatever (u know what i mean) should be more round than square, just remove the 1X1 stud piece from every corner, i think you have enough darkred for that, (and ask if you didn't understand what i meant), anyway good job :)

Lookin' good! IMHO I think it could use some tiles and other greebs on the outer hull like Thomas said, but I suppose that'll be added last.

Yep. The bridge and engines have lots of greeblies. They look very perty, if I say so myself. I finished the ship about an hour and a half ago. I'll send you some pics on Wednesday, I'm gonna be too busy tomorrow.

Excellent work! The overall shape is pretty well done; now, I suspect that the bridge and side paneling will contain quite a few greebs?

Well, you won't have too wait much longer. I finished the bridge today, bringing this to 90% done! Now I just have the engines and minor details!

It's not finished yet. And, I do plan to have quite a lot of pics. And I don't think i'm gonna do any interior. It'd make this even more difficult than it already is...if thats possible;)

when you build something like this, you must have at least 30 pics. but good model. what would make it complete would be an opening hanger in the top red stripe and a cockpit interior

Looking good. I'm going to try to finish up my Venator after I post my next part of "Brothers in arms." But there's a couple things that need some work like for instants: The republics symbols, they need to be a bit smaller and the front part of the sides need to be a bit more detailed. Probably some red pieces wouldn't hurt. Because it's looking a bit to plain. So I can't wait until it's done.

Oh man! sounds really good, you're almost done with the basics, and you have now to work carefullywith the details, you know; small things do matter. Good luck with this fantastic MOC.

Looks great so far! Judging by the minifig it WILL be bigger then mine! Try using some tiles to break up the surface of the outer hull. Also, consider using stickers for the emblem, at that scale any circle will look too blocky.

The Venator isn't finished yet. This is just a construction journal of it.

I agree. Unfortunately, the pieces I need for that are in use by my brother, and there's no way I'll get them back. So, rough edges it is, unless I find an alternative. But I know what you are saying. It's supposed to be 1 straight line, not rough edges. I'll try to find an alternative, but my parents have ruled out Bricklink after the order I made.

Oh, bricklink, how I yearn for thee... Looks good so far, but I'm not a fan of that front part. The edges should be one smooth line, I think, except for one part, and the edge of that part is paralel to the main edge.... Hard to explain.
