LS Aeliad II
Time for something more simple. The Longship Aeliad II is an unarmed supertanker, that supplies space fleets with fuel, food and ammunition. It is usually accompanied by a squadron of fighters.
About this creation

I invented the LS class ships some time ago. LS stands for long ship, and I've built a wide variety of ships with this simple shape, from simple cargo shuttles to large capital battleships. I like having some kind of restriction as to what the ship must look like. The noses of the LS class ships are all basically the same.

Okay, time for a few stats:
- Scale: microscale
- Company: The Spacing Guild (TSG)
- Length: 250 metres or 41 studs
- Gross: 234,006 GT
- Net: 162,477 GT
- Dwt: 441,585 metric tons deadweight (DWT)
- Engines: four PlasmaJetRepulsoRams
- Speed: 12 G
- Armour: double steel plating
- Energy: four solar panels, no internal reactor
- Weaponry: -
- Personnel: 7

After long years of service, the armoured plating has been replaced and replaced again. It seems that space never runs out of tiny rocks to bump into.

Simple, sleek, fast, low maintenance cost. What more do you want?

Close up view of the aft section, with bridge, living section, solar panels and engines.

Quoting Lee Jones A nice design and colour choice. Now that I have read your reason for having so many ships with a similar nose design, then I will keep my yap closed about 'seen it'. I was wondering about having the nose one or two studs wider? The length almost seems to be for some extra width. Or maybe I am just going down the drain like Phipson. It does have a rather similar appearance to some anatomy. Well done. Lee.
Thanks. I have experimented in the past with wider bodies. They all seem to have a certain 'bulk freighter' look to me. I think I've lost the pics I took of them though. I also seem to have lost the pics I took of a UCS B-wing I once made. I didn't even know I'd lost any pics at all! Meh.

A great ship, nice lines and coloring. I think it's just fine not to build monumental MoCs all the time just to proof how good a builder you are. This one rocks, I respect you for sharing it and you're definately one of my fav spacecraft builders!

Simple but pleasing. By the way, why did you not rate my Republic Gunship Version 2?

It's long and not quite as thick as I'd like. Just like my... umm never mind. Hey, nice one! Like everyone else has said, not as good as some of your others, but what the heck, it's still pretty darn cool! keep em coming! ~ Chris.

The shape is really simple, but it looks nice in a tanker! The color stripes look great!

Nice tanker. And about that "coming to you soon" thing... I need approx 20,000,000 gallons of crude plasma delivered tomorrow. Hope it ain't too much for ya'! Once again, great job.

Ha! The thumbnail made it seem as big as your average MOC, but it means you can sure pack some detail into such a small one! I particularly like the hinge-tiles used as fins on the sides.

Lookin' good! Love the use of those barrels. Smaller than usual? Yes. Bad? Absolutely not. =)

Quoting Dali Zheng Not quite as impressive as your other MOCs, but still well built. This particular design with the long body and quad engines looks very swooshable.
Thanks. I know it's not that impressive. But I like it and I wanted to share. Also, I am here to get some critiques/criticism from people that are also into lego. I'm starting to realise I've been building in clichés sometimes, and sometimes I'm original. But I still don't know which is which ;)

Quoting Defender 90 You really shouldn't comment on peoples creations just to get them to look at yours, it deters them from it even more.
Uh whah?
