About this creation
Here's a couple of MOCs that didn't quite make the cut for the BrickWorld Display this year. Both are "alright" in their own way but... just didn't quite have that "IT" factor ya know? So, let's move on and see why these two just weren't up to snuff shall we?

The original idea here was for a microscale fighter that could split apart into two seperate fighters. The concept was there and the build wasn't half bad but the scale just wasn't right to fit in with the other builds.

I used the same basic idea on the engines for the replacement to these fighters but did it just a little better. Why am I not posting the new ones you ask? Cause you'll have to come to Brickworld to be the first to see em, that's why. I'll be posting the whole thing after Brickworld of course but just like they said in History of the World Part 1, "First served, first come." Or was that the other way around? Anyway...

And here we have the ships seperated after a 47 hour surgery. The one on the right was able to keep the kidneys but the one on the left got the... oh wait, wrong type of seperation. The concept was pretty simple so when one of them got seperation anxiety, I could attach them together again fairly easily.

This was supposed to look like one of those D-Day beach landing boats from WW2 but with a futuristic style... sorta. As you can see, (actually, you can't yet. But just play along for now) the whole scale again just didn't fit in with the rest of the build.

This is the shot with the ramp down for unloading all those sea men for shoreleave. I hear Dennis Price's mom is giving a two for one deal this week so I wanted the ship to be able to deploy as many soldiers as possible at one time. With discounts like that, wouldn't want to start a riot.

BABY GOT BACK YO! Talk about some junk in the trunk. This girl's got it goin on with those 5 engines.

And just like Dvious, Those guns can swing back and forth for optimal coverage. Wouldn't want anyone feeling left out now would we?

Three Point One Fourth Wall Commentary: Man I love eating pie... Hope you enjoyed this little trip down failure lane with me. The mocs themselves weren't bad (if they were, they wouldn't get a post) but I like their replacements a LOT better. Hope to see you at BrickWorld so you can enjoy the final build with us. Oh, and for those that will be there, I am planning on incorporating this year's BrickWorld Theme into my build. How am I going to do that you ask? Again, you'll either have to be there or wait till Late June to see! Till next time true believers!

Alright Phippy, those twins were pretty sweet (have I mentioned how much I like twins?), so I'm looking forward to seeing what so-called "improvements" you've made. If they're twins to begin with, then I've doubled my pleasure...but if the new ones are twice as good...then that means my pleasure's quadrupled. Hmmm...once again, Brickworld is sounding like a good time!

Nice 'failboat' you got there. Seriously...I really like that one. You should modify it, put it in one of your MOCWars vigs and name it the 'E=MC^2 Failboat' I'll explain my logic on that one over a beer someday. :-) Nice work on both though. The bra for Kelso's sister is...ahh...how to put this...interesting.

Nothing wrong with experimenting with techniques, but they died a well deserved death. Learn from this and go forward, then I can just copy off of you. Lee.

Well, you can see why they didn't make it! HAHAHA! hey, I've got a suggestion for those in the main pic. they're really nice but the connection should be their underside. I'm thinking of connecting them like Shanno makes his Mysterions...see ya around...

For Kelso's sister of course. Did you have to ask?

Quoting JD Luse Sure hope these are failed, you're gonna need something bigger and better to beat the Rusty Gerbil. Is Kelso even bringing that thing to BrickWorld?
Yes. As far as I know Kelso is bringing "The Copper Hamster" to BW.
Quoting JD Luse Maybe you should start a whole folder just for failed stuff...
Doesn't my whole page pretty much cover that?

Actually, I really like those dark bley ships, though I think you could throw some blue in there. But hey, these are failed. Maybe you should start a whole folder just for failed stuff...

Quoting Dennis Price I would never allow Mom to offer a two-for-one deal. I need to pay for my latest Bricklink order. I would never allow Mom to offer a two-for-one deal. I need to pay for my latest Bricklink order.
You said that twice... you trying to convince us or yourself there?
Quoting Dennis Price Didn't you skate in the Pirates of Penzance on Ice? That was a big failure, too. A lot of skating seamen were looking for a new port of call after that one, too.
I am the very model of a modern Major-General, I've information vegetable, animal, and mineral. I know the kings of England, and I quote the fights historical From Marathon to Waterloo, in order categorical. I'm very well acquainted, too, with matters mathematical, I understand equations, both the simple and quadratical. About binomial theorem I'm teeming with a lot o' news. With many cheerful facts about the square of the hypotenuse. Don't ask how I know that... you don't want to know.

Well, if the failures are that good, I can't wait to see the ones that made it. Oh, wait. I won't be there. I don't have two pennies to rub together. Although, even if I had two pennies, why I would be rubbing on them is beyond me...What am I talking about? Oh, yeah. Nice job with the failures.
