A small hotrod with a total lack of detail. But hey, it's an odd-wide, which means it qualifies for this month's BRICKSonWHEELS challenge. (May 2009)
About this creation
Note how the roof and the radiator are both at an even width. It's not my most detailed car ever, but I like the way it's shaped.
Yep, that's a modified version of the engine from my Black Mamba pickup. Because the engine is exposed, this would have qualified for last month's challenge, too. Dang!
A very simple, TOTALLY STUDLESS interior. A SNOTter's dream car? Maybe...
Sorry, no fancy chassis here! Instead, it's a mess of different plates, but that's the price of building odd-wide.
A goodbye photo. And to anybody who wants to suggest opening doors, I've already tried it. The doors just made the car extremely fragile. Suggestions and constructive criticism for anything else are always welcome, and believe me, I need it!

Great design, a very sleek Rod! I'd like you to add it to the 7 wide cars group, will send you an invitation. Would be glad if you joined the group! |

Dude this is the best hot rod! Where did you get all the red brick? Mostly from some of the Ferrari sets from 2005-2006. There's lots of useful red plates and bricks in there.

How did I never see this before? The tail end touches a close spot to my heart...looks just like my (much bigger) '32 Ford. Great looking car. -matthew- |

You totally nailed the proportions and shape here, and I can relate with the odd wide challenge, check out my "Squatty". Anyway, extremely well done, 9.5/10 |

Nice shape; accurate to real life rods and great being so smooth- there are no random studs so this has been well thought out. I agree the detail level is on the low side. Not always a bad thing but you could maybe add a few little touches like wing mirrors, number plates, a brick decal (like Ruud Stam's) on the side etc to spice it up a bit. Overall; a quality MOC; 4/5. Add it to the Rod Club! |

This is totally awesome dude! Ok, as you said it's not very detailed, but simple builds sometimes are better than complicated ones, and this is one of those times ;) you did really good at the interior and the engine, just an impressive entry for this month's challenge... Keep it up my man >>> peace.. Firas Thanks, Firas! If I make any improvements, I'll keep you updated.
