Dark Jedi
The Force Unleashed... (video included)
About this creation
This moc was Moc Of The Day on 26 June 2012

- - -

I played The Force Unleashed and I must say it was awesome, best starwars game I've ever played, my only complain is that the xbox version doesn't have the duel mode, I wonder why, I don't see why you need the Wii's movement detection if the controlls are the same as in the campaign mode, it's a shame, xbox has always been the best gameconsole for starwars games, that was the reason I bought an xbox 360 instead of a Wii (another reason is that the legend of zelda twillight was also available on gamecube, otherwise I would have stand for a very difficult choice), the graphics on the 360 are better anyway.
Anyway, it comes down to this, I choose a console depending on the games you can play on it and this time I'm dissapointed...
wait a minute, that's not what I want to say...
My point is that I made a moc which is inspired by the game the Force Unleashed,
...ah...it felt so great to walk around in a great Jedi outfit (with cap) and grip three stormtroopers at a time to throw them against a wall, then using force lightning to electrocute an arial trooper and watch him flying away with an exploding jetpack while countering blaster bolts fired by remaining troopers which I kill thereafter using a black lightsaber infused with force lightning...whoops, I'm drifting away again :p
ANYWAY, here it is

This is the story of Jedi master Sebeus (come on, everyone has the right for his own jedi sigfig :P),
a Jedi master in the clone wars.

he made many victories.
Using the Force as his powerful ally he made himself notorious with his enemies.

He was very skilled in lightsaber combat and often handled two lightsabers.

But then order 66 came...
He was on a mission on a volcanic planet similar to Mustafar when his troops suddenly aimed their guns at him.

Confused of what was happening he tried to defend himself.

deflecting a plasmabolt

Force grip

While troops kept on chasing him, the Jedis' anger grew, his defending actions became attacks and after 2 days of battling the hunters became the hunted.

Manipulating the lava

Bending metal

By giving in to his anger he turned to the darkside

He kept struggling between two sides untill he came across another Jedi, the jedi felt the dark side in him and pulled his lightsaber, which regrettably only strengthened Sebeus' anger...

My goal here was to create a typical starwars environment to use as a background for epic battles between Jedi and Sith, unleashing the Force...
especially the fictional planet Mustafar was my inspiration, I made a big mustafar diorama some time ago btw, when I look at the pictures again, I know I can make a far better mustafar diorama but the thing is that in order to build it I'll need a lot of bricks which are now used in the Flying Dutchman, which is my personal favourite.
maybe it's time for me to start using more bley too, the new gray isn't compatible with the old gray, it hurts my eyes when I see a combination of new and old gray, it's just like the new and old brown, though I like the new dark brown but the new light brown is ugly and doesn't look good with the old either....
it's easier to just accept the new grey in my collection (though I keep it in seperate boxes to avoid fights between old and new colored bricks, some of those bricks are quite racist you know :p)
....this doesn't have much to do with this moc, does it ?
wait a minute...now I notice I used quite a lot new and old gray on this one...
...
see you next time !

I have been using my technique in a stop-motion. My stop-motion skills aren't of top level unfortunatly, I still have much to learn...

Not really no :P but just enough to be understandable, Dutch is a very difficult language for someone not used to it. Anyway, I remember I had a small sliding plate under the bridge which I slowly pulled out. Btw, I'm guessing you tried translating the sentence "just so you know" that one is translated very litterally and doesn't make sense :P

Great environment and presentation. The most impressive LEGO thing is definetly the melting bridge. But I am actually more impressed with your story that actually works. That is a rare sight on the pages. Good job sir.

Mr. Sebius. I have always been a big fan of the destroyed bridge in this MOC. The photography is pretty good as well. I read one of your comments over on Contact Alpha One. I used a net and attached plates on both sides (using round 1x1 plates to connect them through the net). You can make a wall / floor very flexible that way

i don't know how you make your creations but if you have more new grey bricks then old ones they use the new ones as the visible bricks and the old ones for the places where you could never tell the difference. like in very dark places. or underneath things.

Yeah this is nice my friend, very nice... really some impressive details all around... and Mark; don't tell Sebeus to make any thing studless! :0 he love it with STUDS, believe me ;) and Sebeus; you're right about the old and new gray, I'm suffering from the same thing :( any way keep on the great work and never destroy your FD, unless you want to make a better version which I see that it's hard to make it any better, but who knows!? take care my friend >>> peace.. Firas :)

Ditto...nice work on the walls, and yep, yep...studless floor would be sexy. I might add that I liked several of the action shots, and the use of the trans elements in those scenes worked nicely. Some solid photography, too. All in all a very nice creation and presentation.

I'm rarely interested in Star Wars MOCs but that's just me. Seen too much SW LEGO that turned me off. This was ok. I like the rooms and the effects etc. It's ok to jabber at the end of your page and improving your English is good. I heard from someone that LEGO said the colors were changed to make them more attractive to the kids who buy the sets. I do like the new blay's and in some cases you can mix the two quite effectively. I'm working on something right now that will have brown, reddish brown and dark brown in it. Hope it works. see ya. garth
