This is the start to my new EOS comic called "War's Legacies". Enjoy!!!
About this creation
The war with the UNE and COP with the EOS has been raging for 2 years non-stop, but neither sides show signs of giving up. This story takes place right on the border of the EOS’s territory, where brave EOS soldiers fight to recapture their planet, Stath, from the hands of the COP. We now join Captain Mark and his men as they struggle to fight for their people.
Captain Mark and his squad of three men are ordered to clear their sector so that the full assault can begin on the city, Isurk. After they capture the city they can continue to take the capital, where the COP leaders have set up their main base.
Capt. Mark: That mech is getting closer, Paul, you might want to hurry up with those mines.
Sergeant Paul: I’m sorry captain, but one wrong move and this whole place will blow.
Capt. Mark: Well what would you rather do, get in the path of a COP mech or hurry up.
(After a few moments of consideration) Sergeant Paul: I’ll hurry up… There we go , the mine is in place Capt.
Capt. Mark: Good, now get inside those ruins, men, and hide.
(EOS men run for the ruins just before the COP Mech comes into sight.)
EOS Soldier: Hey Paul, how much do you want to bet that the mech is going to survive and we’ll have to run?
Sergeant Paul: Hmmm… I’ll bet…
Capt. Mark: Can it you guys! Get ready.
(The COP mech slowly moves its way down the street)
Capt. Mark: Ready… NOW!
(Sergeant Paul detonates the mines and knocks the mech to the ground.)
Capt. Mark: Move, move, move! Take it out!
(Capt. Mark’s squad moves onto the road and starts chucking grenades at it.)
“BOOM” (The mech explodes, frying its circuits.)
Capt. Mark: Good job guys. Get inside the ruins before anyone sees us. Mark, contact the base and tell them we’ve cleared sector 14A.
Sergeant Paul: Yes sir.
Capt. Mark: You guys did a great job today, and you guys deserve a rest. Paul, what did the base say?
Sergeant Paul: I can’t get a hold of them, its all static. Their signal has just disappeared, like it was destroyed or something.
Capt. Mark: I don’t like the sound of that. We better get back to base ASAP. Move out…
