Well, many people have been waiting on my next LegoŽ creation. Here it is my brand new LegoŽ M1A1 Thompson. I am very proud of how it overall turned out. This gun has many features that blow away all my previous guns! This is definately my best gun yet. From the colors to the mechanism, this gun will do it all! Although it is not exactly life size, it sure feels like it! I know the handgrip may not be the most accurate but that is the way I like it. This gun was completely designed on LegoŽ Digital Designer, and yes it was around 145$ to be shipped to my house. It was absolutely worth every penny! Over the past few months I have looked at everyone else's Thompsons and took notice of their best features. The sight credit goes to Milan CMadge. The sling attachment point credit goes to Marco P Replicas. The safety credit goes to Tom Jongejans. There were probably a few other things that came from someone else but I can't remeber. Why a Thompson you may ask? I love the look and feel of one and now I got it in LegoŽ! There are directions below for you to make one of your own but you will have to pick up the bill. I hope you love it as much as I do. Please comment to your fill and hopefully I can make more guns like this!

I've downloaded the file, and its trully great, but there's no instructions for the mechanism? would you mind putting up a separate MOC for the mechanism instructions? many thanks!
I do have a separate moc for the mechanism under my mech and warnings folder. Thanks for the comment and upload!

this is a good Thompson, well done a few things that could be improved are the safety catch and fore sight, also the piece sticking out at the rear of the receiver is not a firing pin but infact a locking pin, on the real one you push it in and pull the top of the receiver up to disassemble.

i love thompsons i made a thompson but i don't know if i wiil get it up
Finally you've made him! Your M1a1 Thompson! I love it! The stock looks very good, but I think the magazine needs to be one stud wider, because I think 4 studs is too thin. But it's really cool, it's absolutaly your best gun yet, awesome job.

I've added a safety mechanism to my Thompson, it's actually just like the real one.
I like it

i lie it up there with the best man you have come a long way from some of your quite blocky looking guns (no offence here)

Are you left handed? Another question. Is it hard to build life-size guns in ldd?
No I am not left handed. I just needed to hold onto the gun with my left hand while taking the FPS pic. Also, it probably is difficult to make a true lifesize gun in LDD. This gun took me atleast two weeks just to finish. Then I had many improvements to do over the next 2-3 weeks.
