Mysterion Starshutter
A big Mysterion... This is my very first 'shopped pic, so be patient with the glitches :)
About this creation
Object 341

This big, mutiple object was detected speeding away towards MG4431, a remote star, approx 2/3 the mass of the Sun, and almost twice as old.

Due to the close resemblance with previosly sighted Object 157 (see "Mysterion Wave #1"), the scouts were ordered to pursue.

When the scout ships entered the uninhabited system (mostly rocky bodies, smaller than Mercury), Object 341 was gone...

... The star was dark. Its nuclear reactions had been completely shut down, and it was collapsing rapidly under its own weight, due to the lack of inner pressure.

The worst was yet to come. While the science vessels were still in the system studying the phenomenon, the star reignited, probably due to the pressure, going nova and destroying most of its system.

Luckily, the fleet's scientists detected the reaction in due time, so no lives were lost.
At this time, the incident is still subject to vast speculation. Where the fact that object 341 was equipped with a fusion blocker of some sort was not in discussion...

... whether this was a failed attempt to shut down a star, or a succsesful attempt to create a nova, and whether this was a test for a mass destruction weapon or a civilian experiment still remains a mystery.

One thing for sure: the scale of devastation caused by such a small vessel, hardly bigger than a heavy fighter, increased the defined threat level for Mysterion encounters permanently.

I hope you liked it, and don't worry, despite of my recent "Mysterion spree" I'm still not completely insane. But I will continue to explore this awesome theme, for a while :)
Oh, and I had a little problem with the smallest cube: I couldn't find a way to make it perfectly symmetrical. If you take a look at it, an have any suggestions, I'd appreciate it (though this MOC has already been deconstructed).

You've managed to mix perfectly the "boxy" look of Mysterions with something more organic. I really like how you've used the trans-orange panels on the back !
