Yes, and it moves the bolt in the back of the gun when it is pulled back.

If you go to Lego.com and search pick a brick, you can pick any and all the lego bricks you want. Fore warning though: This size of a gun can cost about $500. It might be better if you got him a smaller gun.

This is my favorite weapon of all time. You took me away with the grenade launcher disign. Overall amazing.

Very good, Dawg. Easily the best FAMAS on MOCpages. The rail is just right, everything is in proportion, its just all around, good. I have one question though. How do you make a SNOT handle?

I don't have that mag anymore, but it is pretty simple. I just used some basic pieces for it. There were Iron sights on it. The real ones, not the ones modern warfare 2 uses. I might decide to make a new FAMAS in the future, so stay tuned.

First of all, this is quite awsome, and, needless to say, acurate (no pun intended!). You captured the shape well, and , you even made realistic attatchments! Two questions though, How did you do the magazine? I see you have those little lines in it, but could you post some pics of it? And what about the iron sites??!! Thanks!

lol looks exactly like a famas, i like the camo theme, has anyone every tried to make a blue tiger camo gun? if not could you try to make a blue tiger version of this gun if you have enough blue pieces.

It`s a very very good version of the FAMAS, it looks exactly like the real one... only one thing, shouldn`t be the hand protecor over the whole grip and not only over the finger on the trigger? Wonderful, I honestly thought the main picture was a photo, but then I clicked and it was lego. The fact that you managed to make lego look so lifelike is a true testament to your model making skills.

The FAMAS is my favorite gun, and your replica is completely awesome! The FAMAS is a bit longer, but I can accept the shortness, because you made it almost look cooler! The FAMAS does NOT have grenade launchers, but your addition of one is way stinkin' cool, I love the photo of all the extras(except the foregrip handle) mounted on it. Great build!
