USS Enterprise (2009 Star Trek Film) please rate and comment
I recently saw the new JJ abram's Star Trek film, and I told myself that I had to build the enterprise. I even made it a fleet of mini shuttles. I had to destroy my x-35, but it was worth it. I am personally pleased with the results. By popular demand, I have remove the oversized "NCC-1701" letters from the front, and it actually does look nicer.
About this creation
My FAVORITE song from the new movie soundtrack.

Quoting Adam Myers UNBELIVEABLE!!!!! For more accuracy, you should put the nacels strait up. Other than that it is better than any thing I have ever seen on MOCpages.

Very nice model! I love J.J. Abrams' Star Trek sequel/prequel/reboot and the new design of the Enterprise:) I was just wondering, where did you get those long, curvy light-grey pieces on top of each nacelle? I have those in dark grey, but I'd rather not paint them light-grey.

Quoting david mason i went and saw the film and my eyes were stuck to the screen, that is an amazing film, have you noticed that 2 people get incinerated in the same 10 minutes and 2 people get thrown off high platforms throughout the film, oh yeah the lego model, i built one once, it fell apart just like in the film and was near to impossible to fix, nice details you should make an opening hanger at the back and make micro space ships to go in it and add some small turrets to it on the top and you should make the romulon mining ship to go with it, you could make a movie scene.
actually, if you look closely at the bottom of the saucer, I've added little phasers, and all though it isn't labeled, I do have a picture of the back hanger door opened with a mini shuttle inside.

actually I have seen megablock models of the original starships, and I even got one for my dad a while back. the only thing is megablocks doesn't have the same building style lego does, and often has absolutely no support holding it together until it's completely done.

I agree, but I wonder why they don't? Is it because that other company (probably Hasbro) is already making toys for the movie? By the way, it doesn't matter how "good" anyone else's model is, you should still build your own version.

Great job with this ship. The designation is way off scale and does take away from the appearance, but this is a very nice MOC you have here ...regardless of an asthetic detail. I perused the rest of your stuff, I really enjoy your build style, there is a lot of good stuff there! ~dave
