How many of you remember Unitron? I decided to give the Unitron team another spaceship, since they only have four sets. This is one of those builds that looks simple from the outside, but actually uses some tough building techniques on the inside (in this case, a bunch of SNOT around one of these). Read this comment of Shannon Ocean's to see where I got the name "Dinofox" from. Front view. The Dinofox is designed for reconnaissance and scouting missions, hence the sensors, the relatively light weaponry, and the large engine.
Side view. I know what you're thinking: wings in space? I guess it can be an atmospheric ship, too.
Underside. Although it lacks retractable landing gear, it can land on a flat surface.
The Dinofox’s only weapons are these nose-mounted cannons.
It's too bad the cockpit is so cramped, but the piece that I attached the canopy to is kind of difficult to use this way.
It's the Unitron babe!
Partially taken apart so you can get a better view of how I made it.
Yep, that's some pretty impressive SNOT. I think you have studs pointing in every direction, which is something that I have never accomplished. The lines of the ship are simple but flawless thanks to the perfect SNOT work, and I like the basic shape. Awesome work!
The use of this part as a cockpit and the center of the ship is awesome ! Also the shape looks like a futuristic version of a World War II plane, it's great ! Finally, it's good to see a cool new ship for Unitron. Great work !
