Jeff Supernova's awesome little Tachikoma was the basis and inspiration for this set of Tachikoma from the Ghost In The Shell (GITS) Original Video Anime (OVA) Season 1.

About this creation

I think Jeff Supernova really captured the spidery origins of the Tachikoma. I wonder what kind of pet spiders Shirow Masamune keeps.

I modifed the legs and rear of Jeff Supernova's original design. There are elements of the Tachikoma I wanted to include, like the "webline-shooters" the police lights, along with the suggestion of a single wheel on the legs.

This scene recreates the meeting of the blue Tachikoma, the silver lab-escapee, and the yellow converted-to-construction Tachikoma whose combined effort and sacrifice save Batou at the action-packed climax of GITS SAC Season 1 Episode 25.
