A light house.
About this creation
This is my current project in 2003. Actually, it's inspired by the movie "The Majestic". I like the town in the movie, especially the light house.
I visited a light house in San Diego, USA in 2000. It's small and tinny, but very beautiful. The movie reminded me so I decided to create a light house.
The plan began at November, 2002. First step is drawing the floor plan, then I have to gather the enough white bricks. It's very very very hard to buy the basic bricks in Taiwan because "Shop at Home" (The official LEGO online shop) does not provide the service for Taiwan customers. So I had to order the bricks and sent them to my USA colleague's home, then waited my Taiwan colleague to bring them back after their business trip in USA. This spent a lot time.
After I got the bricks, the weather becomes hot. I could hardly build the models becuase there is no air control in my apartment. That's why the light house is not finished yeat >_<

THe living room. I have never seen the "fireplace" before (well, I don't need it in Taiwan....it's very very very hot here :p). So I try to find the information and the pictures from Internet and my friends who lived in USA before. Well, you can see the fire now :)
