Shield Breaker
It takes a village to raise a child, but it only takes a match to destroy a village. And with that in mind...
About this creation

Alright, people. Please note that this is the LAST model I will be posting until August. My apologies to Alex Ruiz, but I could not think of a Spec-Ops vehicle that would utilize my green parts.

Anywho, on to the ship. The DE-110 "Uber-Gunz" is a ship based entirely on the saying "One Shot=One Kill." Simply put: a large enough gun on a fast enough fighter will be better than sending your capital ships into the fray.

This is the MK 1 variant. It uses assymmetry to throw off any attacking fighters, kind of like dazzle paint (a lot of people on Mocpages hate assymmetry and can't stand to look at it). This was also needed to supply the shield cannon with plasma ammo. Unfortunately, the odd shape makes for an odd flight, and this fighter has since been restricted to space.

The MK 2 variant was produced when parts for mechanics got smaller and more efficient. But by no means did we compromise the fire power. In fact, we actually increased the fire power by inserting a more powerful generator.

More photos in due time. I hope this will last you all a couple of months. Until next time, fellas. Right now I've got to scram.

Very original concept and design here :) Nice asymmetry.

Quoting Kyle Bartley If anything I would like to see even more asymmetry in the future versions of this MOC. I always liked the B-wing in Star Wars for that very reason. I like your concept a lot, although I am sure any energy weapon on a starfighter would only be useful against frigates and destroyers, not against the bigger cruiser and battleships.
Yeah, but would YOU send in a heavy cruiser to destroy an escort when THIS could do the trick? I'd personally save my big guns for big ships, and leave the small ships to this thing. Assymetry is not my original style, but I'll try to incorporate it in later. Thanks for the comment. -Karta D.
