RM-03 Road Runner
Remote Mechs are controlled by a Remote Pilot in a Grav-Pod, out of harm's way. The Road Runners are very fast, light mechs with different configurations.
About this creation
The RM-03 are used mainly for scouting and quick land strikes. They offer a small and very difficult target, especially while moving.

Their thin legs move with a system of internal wiring, all engines are inside the main hull. The main wires are rather elastic, adding a spring effect that quickens their movements.

The Grav-pod TP-02 features a tactical interface allowing the RP (Remote Pilot) to control up to 3 mechs at once.

RPs are equipped with a cyberlink, and the TP-02 features a holografic interface.

The mechs' own A.I. makes them easy to control, for a trained RP.

Alas, the TP-02's control range is limited to 2.5 Km, in absence of significant interference. The RMs themselves can't put more than 350 mt between one another.

RM-03d

Equipped whith an anti-vehicle plasma projector, it's the ideal mid-range mech.

The plasma guns can of course be used against infantry, but it's advisable to tune down the power output to anti-infantry configuration.

Although the plasma gun is not made for continuous fire, short bursts can be used in case of necessity, with a little risk of malfunction.

RM-03g

A lighter build, equipped with a long range, high precision gun.

This support unit can remove single threats with its powerful weapon, capable of firing up to 1 shot per second.

Since its weapon is far less effective at short range, it's equipped with shredding claws for close quarters.

The most obvious weak spot of the RM-03 is the communication "feather". Although it's heavily plated for frontal attacks, the underside remains vulnerable.

Enemy forces often waste a grat deal of firepower trying to hit their thin legs, thinking the're a weak spot... On sparse occasions they even succeed.

Just another shot of this one. I don't know why I took so many.

Don't miss the next Alphatron MOC, the Knight , comments are welcome :)

Quoting Knoll grey excellent work! the fact that you don't make your machine invincible is a refreshing addition, i have heard" it can fire continuously until the enemy is desintegrated" or its armor is impenetreble" enough times that i want to shoot myself. very organic and original, i like it!
I think it's the age gap you noticed there. Even if I love lego, anime, toons and other stuff, the fact that I'm almost 32 is bound to have consequences :)

Quoting Gringat The Stormlord You really like those Exo-Force gun barrels, don't you?
Yes. One of the most useful pieces ever made. They're guns, arms and legs, exhausts, antennas, hilts, polearms, supports, and even armor. I also made a body with them.
