I looked at my old Station 2 that I had built as a teenager. I had scratch built the station with the few parts I had available and made a small replica of my firehouse, with only 2 bays instead of three, and I did not have a pitched roof. When I got back into the Lego scene, I ordered some additional parts and was able to expand it to three bays. The result is below:
