Heather's Grocery Hauler
Heather is ready to bring home the bacon (or haul off your Lego) in this little pickup.
About this creation

I started off building a four-wide car I could use to to grab some of the glory that will be given to Dave and Stacy Sterling's layout at Brickworld. About halfway through, I started thinking about my friend Heather LEGOgirl and imagined she needs a little pickup to haul home the groceries for her family. That's when I remembered that little dump truck bed I got at a garage sale last summer. BINGO. Heather's Grocery Hauler was born.

Yeah, the windshield doesn't do much shielding of the wind, but it's more for show than go. When you're just popping down to the corner market for some veggies or a burger, then you worry more about style than function.

Well, whether or not Dave and Stacy let me put this in their display remains to be seen (but you'll see a pic of this in their display in my Brickworld wrap-up, bet on it -- just don't tell the Sterlings!)

Heather: Maybe more time with the Lego and less time with BOB? Nice little build. Lee.

Kelso, you know it's not the size of the collection but how well and how often you put it to use. My collection might as well shrivel up and fall off. ;)

Awesome! This will definitely have a place on our layout. More cars is less I have to build in the next 14 days.

Groceries, maybe. But that's too small for her Lego hualin' work. I mean, have you seen that girls collection? She needs a friggin' semi trailer!

Quoting Mark "Iron Wolf" This couldn't get any funnier, Dennis. You make Heather's face look like a man's!! Hahaha!
When she runs to the store, she doesn't need to put on her makeup and lipstick -- and she still looks fabulous. That girl just knows how to work it!

Ah, the classic 4-wide, and a prime example, makes me want to switch back, I'm sick of trying to build 6-wide cars. Great work! ~T
