Starship First Blood
As it turns out being outside my comfort zone isn't so bad actually.
About this creation
The First Blood is a attack class star cruiser commissioned by the Mars government as a monument of their many great achievments(they think a lot of themselves). It wasn't originaly designed for war, it was just supposed to sit around and look menacing. That changed when earth decided to revolt under Mars rule and the First Blood was their first target.

As it turns out the ship was vastly more dangerous than anticipated by earths forces and made short work of the two attack crusers sent to destroy it.

The bridge is protected by four gauss turrets.

You know theres a funny story behinde these engines, but I'm not gonna tell it to you.

Many very powerful very classified guns.

The greeb channel and turrets.

The underside has three Thumper turrets for surface attacks.

The four dome pieces along the side here are mine launchers to cover hastey retreats. The grill is a missile launcher, equiped with light anti-fighter missiles. you can also see the hanger.

Now I get to sort out all the leftover pieces from this build. Oh joy.

This one was my inspiration, in point of parts usage and especially the small, black gun turrets! Thanks for the exhilarating comment. - Kevin

ok Matt. I need to know what those plastic drawers are called and were you got them. I need a more organized way of storing my legos than dumping them all into plastic tubs or folding them up in a sheet. thanx! :)

I'll agree with Dali here, a slightly more bulky rear would make it just that little bit better. however, the gradiented stripe is made of huge amounts of WIN.
