Macross Robotech Vf1 Valkyrie fighter battroid gerwalk
About this creation
My best VF1 Valkyrie so far! It took me several trials to find arms that are acurate enough in the battroid mode and fits in the right position in the fighter mode!
My focus for this MOC were make the betther fighter mode for it possible than make it transform. I think its my best Macross creation cause for me, its the most acurate.
Originally designed as an all-environment variable combat system designed for use against the potential threat of giant alien invasion that the ASS-1 (Alien StarShip 1) seemed to indicate. Design work on the first variable fighter of the United Nations forces began February 2002.
The mass production of the fully operational VF-1A began in November 2007. The first VF-1A's, (limited to fighter mode only,) were deployed to the CVS-101 Prometheus August 2008. The VF-1 Valkyrie, (fully transformable,) was next shipped as a priority to the SDF-1 Macross, with 212 VF-1's being assigned to the vessel for its initiation ceremony on the 1st of February 2009. First operational deployment in Space War I's Battle of South Ataria Island the same day. The GBP-1S Protect-Weapon-System for the VF-1 Valkyrie, an armoured add on package for the VF-1 first saw service in October 2009. The first FAST-Pack-equipped Valkyrie entered combat in January 2010. Production resumed after Space War I at surviving parts plants in the space colonies and on the Lunar surface's Apollo Base from August 2011. At the end of the year 2015, production of the VF-1 series of Valkyries ended with the rollout of the final VF-1 in a commemorative ceremony. The VF-1 Valkyrie was replaced by the VF-4 Lightning III in 2020.

Awesome creation !! Never thought I would see one of these materialize in LEGO in such a realistic way. Are you willing to share building instructions ? Even want to compensate you for them, since I'm sure you've spend a lot of time and effort building this magnificent Robotech creation. |

I love your skull leader VF-1S!
I'm also a fan of robotech.
One thing about your Veritech/Valkyrie though.
In Battloid/Batteroid mode, the cocpit is covered with a heat shield thingy.
So I reccomend getting another of those cocpit pieces, paint it black with a skull and crossbones, and swich the peices during neccesary modes. |

very cool MOC. In fact it helped me with some ideas for my VF-1's. Why dont you take a look? I'm very pleased with the way they turned out. I've been wanting to make one of these since I was a kid, and since the Exoforce Lego came out I've been preparing to make one and did TWO! 1 for Rick Hunter and Max Sterling. I think what I am most pleased about is the fact that it all stays together through the transformation process and is a pretty solid stable creation, plus it looks nice! great job once again, well done! |

Ahhhh, a good friend of mine.Although my favorrite mech, oddly, is the trainer that rick pilots at the beginning of the robotech war, this is a great rendetion of roy focker's (and soon to be rick's) VF-1.It's got posability athough the shoulders are a little short. And the tranformation without removing anything is so cool. You shoukd think about a carrer in mecha designing for lego!
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK |
