Well, it's June 6th, I finished building my WWII Omaha beach assault in time for making it a tribute for Operation Overlord 65 years ago. This is one of my biggest MOCs, and it uses snot technique. Most the minifigures are custom, I didn't get them from any set - apart from the Germans.

Very good ww2 moc- legendary D-Day- i like the way how you built the beach and bunker and all- minifigs are little strange though- medic and other allied soldiers are fantastic but nazis are kinda strange- an i wouldn't use those soviets from indyset as nazis- since they have clear star on their belt- and both Usa and Soviet union were allies- confusing to use them as nazis... |

Plus my dads friend gave me all his from when he was a kid, and my older cousin gave me boxes full too! I don't have the money to buy Lego! - or space for that matter ~ Milan :) |

Amazing work, some fantastic techniques were used here. I especially like the way the boat is slightly dipped in the water. And to the reveiw below mine, what are you talking about when you say Nazi murderers? Many Germans were forced to fight for the Reich, very few joined out of choice compared to the overall size of the army. Indeed, most Germans didn't want to fight in yet another war, but it was either join and be shot by the 'enemy', or be shot by the real villains, the SS and other secret police organizations. But, back to the MOC, as I said before, excellent work here - Callum |

Omaha Beach...the bloodiest shore of Operation Overlord...the most heavily defended...it did not stop the American spearhead from crashing down on the Reich...did not stop the Allied Expeditionary Force from sweeping through western Europe, drawing blood from every last Nazi murderer in the East. An excellent recreation.

Terrific MOC, Milan. From the custom figs to the interior work, you've provided some great details. Nice job on the action taking place as well. Glad you managed to finish in time for D-Day. Though D-Day's a sombre reminder of the unspeakable sacrifices others made on our behalf, it's still good that we remain aware of those sacrifices, even through something as fun and lighthearted as Lego. Thanks for sharing this! |

You should've made a crater hole. That would make it more awesome.
At Omaha beach there were no crater holes. That was why it was so dangerous, the bombing missed so there was no where to hide whilst running across the sand. |
