Omaha Beach, D-Day Tribute [Version 2.0]
Well, it's June 6th, I finished building my WWII Omaha beach assault in time for making it a tribute for Operation Overlord 65 years ago. This is one of my biggest MOCs, and it uses snot technique. Most the minifigures are custom, I didn't get them from any set - apart from the Germans.
About this creation
Update:
I'm slightly shocked, I never thought that this creation would get so popular! It's now the most popular on MOCpages historic military section!! Thanks for all your support guys!!!

Here are some clearer photographs I took with a tripod. Some are First person.

Very good ww2 moc- legendary D-Day- i like the way how you built the beach and bunker and all- minifigs are little strange though- medic and other allied soldiers are fantastic but nazis are kinda strange- an i wouldn't use those soviets from indyset as nazis- since they have clear star on their belt- and both Usa and Soviet union were allies- confusing to use them as nazis...

Amazing work, some fantastic techniques were used here. I especially like the way the boat is slightly dipped in the water. And to the reveiw below mine, what are you talking about when you say Nazi murderers? Many Germans were forced to fight for the Reich, very few joined out of choice compared to the overall size of the army. Indeed, most Germans didn't want to fight in yet another war, but it was either join and be shot by the 'enemy', or be shot by the real villains, the SS and other secret police organizations. But, back to the MOC, as I said before, excellent work here - Callum

Omaha Beach...the bloodiest shore of Operation Overlord...the most heavily defended...it did not stop the American spearhead from crashing down on the Reich...did not stop the Allied Expeditionary Force from sweeping through western Europe, drawing blood from every last Nazi murderer in the East. An excellent recreation. "Two kinds of people are staying on this beach, the dead and those who are going to die."-- Colonel George Taylor, Omaha Beach, June 6th, 1944.

Quoting Sterling Knight Beautiful! I love the simplicity of the rockface with the bunker. Sometimes simplicity can bring the best out of a moc. Also,(I feel bleh asking this) but what is D-day? ~S.K.
D-Day is 6th June 1944 when the Allies in WWII, crossed the channel, and liberated the German occupied France.

Quoting Kakashi Hatake Perfect, I like the gun fire and the blood shot. By the way, how do you put more than 8 pics on one moc?
Just add 8 more, it won't replace the pictures already there. Just keep repeating the add photos thing.

Quoting Andreas Höttler Perfect recreation, great details great landscaping, just amazing work. P.S.: Maybe you could try another design for the Germans, since the russian Indiana Jones Soldiers aren´t that accurate for Germans at all.
Yeah, I agree I had No German bodies though. Version 2 will be better. p.s why didn't you rate?

Yeah - I rushed to get it up, it's such a big MOC I sort of had to balance the camera. I'll probably take some better photos soon, today maybe.

Quoting Lt. Colonel Ghostman You should've made a crater hole. That would make it more awesome.
At Omaha beach there were no crater holes. That was why it was so dangerous, the bombing missed so there was no where to hide whilst running across the sand.

This the most amazing D-Day creation I've seen. So much details. Awesome work on the SNOT and the cliff with a bunker. I really love the bunker. Wow, so well made. You put alot of the slightest details into it This must be your best moc yet. I see you gotten yourself American helmets for your American soldiers. Good thing you posted it today. I messed up the dates and thought it was yesterday. Nice moc for honoring the 65th year of D-Day. ~ Ghostman :)
