Jindo Battle Tank + advanced SNOT techniques
About this creation
In case you're wondering, Jindo is a breed of hunting dogs originating from Jindo Island in Korea. It is a fierce, brave, white dog. I'm not sure whether this is mecha or tank, since it kind of has tread legs. To make up for the smallness of this MOC, I've included some advanced SNOT building techniques which might be useful.

My tread/wheel setup. This is the same tread design that I used on Manticore.

Here it is disassembled.

I'm not sure why this is useful, but it just is.

This is derived from nnenn's cockpit box.

I used this technique on Maintenance Mech, too.

Hi Dali! I've been away, and so didn't notice this new stuff from you. Nicely done, and that mini-tread idea is genius. the SNOT techniques are pretty nice too, and one looks almost similar to a technique I discovered a while ago... And it's definitely a mecha-tank =).

Quoting Phong Chang Is there gonna be an RC?
Yeah, it will take forever to build. I estimate that I will have to buy a ton ($300) of parts to build it.

Yeah, the 1x1 round pieces are just there for show. I could take them off, and the turret can rotate 360 degrees.

  June 7, 2009
yeah, I saw it, maybe I'm wrong, but look at picture 3, I really don't see how the 2x3 plate would go past that 1x1 round piece, looks like it touches the stud...that's what I meant...so the rotation in pic 2 is already the maximum, right? but hey, it's a nice tank ;)

Quoting Space Pirate hm...looks like the turret can't rotate...? I know there are tanks that don't have a turret, but this one does, so it really should be able to rotate...but I like your mecha evolution ;)
The turret can rotate, look at the first and second pictures. I just didn't take photos of the turret in other directions.

It is tough to make a small model to look slick and this is what it is. Pretty slick. The way you made it it can pass as a big model as well. Great work
