The Hawk is a larger fighter craft, which can be heavily armed for combat, or equipped with sensor systems for reconnaissance and scouting.
About this creation
AX-33000 M2 Interceptor - Hawk
This craft is larger than most fighters, housing a crew of two to three.
Once again you can see the armor plating on the top of the craft, angled in a way to deflect both radar beams, and projectile rounds. Energy weapons disperse slightly due to this type of plating as well, as it is based slightly on Vorlon technology, so only the impact is felt.
The Hawk uses five thruster engines, two side mounted X3000 G-force engines, one rear center mounted F2000-F-force engine, and two PFM-5200 engines placed just to the sides of the rear F2.
The front view shows the cockpit, utilizing "super glass" for the view port. "super glass" being coined by the 2142 symposium of engineers as the new window of choice. The formula used ends up being the same element that becomes "transparent Aluminum".
Another view of the wings, showing the armor plating used throughout the ship. On the Port wing, you can see the blades jutting out from the structure. These are razor sharp, and made from ultra strong materials, to provide a cutting source in certain situations. Those being...caught in giant space nets, or acting as a giant can opener should the Hawk use up its ammunition.
Speaking of which, the Hawk is heavily armed. Each wing is equipped with its own weapons. The port side features heavy rocket launchers that launch the penetrative XM-T2 rockets, which use their ingenious nose cone feature to thrust into the hull and then detonate. This causes severe damage.
The Port wing features an array of light, medium and heavy laser cannons.
Below each wing are a series of weapon pods, which house energy rockets, XM-T1 rockets, TR-3000 energy missiles, or other heavy duty weaponry. These weapon pods can be quickly removed and replaced with full magazines, or exchanged for sensor pods for missions that require more subtlety.
The underside features the gravity thrusters, as this craft would need to land eventually, and is too heavy to rely on the natural lift that aeronautical crafts use. There are three heavy thrusters and several smaller thrusters to balance out the weight of the huge craft.
The main chassis shows the center manifold, where fuel lines, computer system network lines, and other important system functions are housed. This area is also heavily fortified.
The communication antenna is bolted to the ship, to avoid it breaking off in combat. Due to this design, the ship frequently has to position it self in the line of sight for the transmission to take place. The unique hull design and material used in making it stealthy also makes it so transmission waves bounce off the plating rather than pass through.

**I really like how this craft turned out. I also like how I gave it a real name. If you compare it to the previous creation I have(had) up you will see that it is fairly close to the same design, but better in most regards. I still used the bottom plating and wing design, but shortened the model slightly and made it more stream line.
However the mini figs are no longer able to stand up inside it, and its cabin is much smaller. This is better though, as it doesn't look like a flying dumptruck. I hope you enjoy this new model as much as I do. Thanks for stopping by. **
***I still have trouble making doors on craft with out movable cockpits...***
