Feeraas Heavy Fighter
Of the Colonizer races, there can be no doubt that the cat-like Feeraas were designed to be the warriors of the Colonizer empire. With the death of the Colonizer race, the warrior-like Feeraas were left to their own devices. As the Feeraas were not very technically minded, the evolution of their civilization took much, much longer than others. They literally spent tens of thousands of years living at each step of the evolution of their civilization. They are therefore a relatively new space faring race. Despite being young among the stars, the Feeraas have become a very real danger to other space faring civilizations. The one saving grace is that the Feeraas have little idea where any other space faring cultures are located. The Feeraas have such a long history, filled with so many legends and wars and mythological heroes, that they have forgotten their orgins completely. So, they set out into the galaxy not knowing what awaits them aside from the possibility for conquest. The Feeraas have colonized a significant empire for themselves spanning several hundred light years out from their homeworld. Fortunately, their homeworld is located in a part of the Perseus Arm of the galaxy where there are few, if any, Colonizer created planets. So, there are very few habitable worlds for them to colonize or conquer. This has slowed their growth as an inter-stellar empire and has spared other parts of the galaxy from being overrun by Feeraas fleets. Also, two natural barriers have kept the Feeraas from expanding in the direction of the Orion and Sagitarius arms of the galaxy where most of the Colonizer worlds are located and where the Tribes of Man are located; Those are the Fire Nebula -- the very dangerous remains of an ancient and massive supernova -- and the Fee'lak Expanse -- a natural 'empty' region of the galaxy where there are few stars, if any. The Feeraas have so far encountered one other sentient race, called the Gudlings, which they quickly destroyed over the course of two decades. Apparently, the Gudlings were a delicious cuisine for the Feeraas.
About this creation

Shooting fighters is a lot like a photo shoot with super models. Both are sleek, got great curves, everyone wants them.

Yah baby, yah! You're terrific darling, look over here, okay, over here now. I got a secret, baby, and it's my copier. Okay, ignore me doing this *snap* *snap* yah just ignore me doing that *snap* *snap*. Aaaand I'm spent.

yes, this is a redo of the earlier fighter I have posted with my MOCs by the same name. I had planned to redo the "camoflauge" pattern, but only ended up getting rid of that yellow beak and making this thing sleek and totally studless.

As we can see, this fighter carries two types of energy weapons, four hard points for various light missiles, excellent maneuvering with multi-vector thrust nozzles on the wings, and the primary engine gives tremendous thrust for high speeds or atmospheric flight. The dorsal and ventral fins add to its atmosperic maneuverability. The long nose cylinder is not a cannon, although it does scare enemy ships with its similarity, but is instead a multi-sensor boom that makes this craft handy for reconaissance as well as a heavy fighter. Most of the wing structure is given over to power systems to supply the power hungry energy weapons during battle.

Nice build- off-beat color scheme is cool, indeed, and studs-free construction makes for a very convincing feel. Remind me to never tangle with the Feeraas! - Huss Q.

That color scheme really shouldn't work but somehow it does. Awesome fighter, I had to check it out after seeing your profile pic. Love the round 2x2s in the front, very original.

Nice shape, and I love the color scheme. The curves give the ship a distinctive look, but I think a smoother cockpit canopy would have been a good choice.

Very nice. It's good to see some space stuff with curved wings instead of angular. I'm also a big fan of the brown and orange color scheme.

Quoting William H. That looks awesome. It looks like the classic arcade style starfighter because of the wings. The engines really fit in the don't look like they were put on at the last minute. I love the color and the greeblies, and the guns look really sharp. I think that you are a very underappreciated builder you only have 300 visators on your MOCs! Anyway great job on it. P.S. did you use SNOT on it? And what does SNOT mean?
Studs Not On Top (SNOT) This is a building technique where instead of stacking bricks, you take your bricks in different directions like to the side or upside down. And this MOC in almost all SNOT work except for the cockpit module. Thanks for taking the time for a closer look and review.

I like what you are doing with your brown parts. I wish I had some. Also, I added interior pictures from the Phantom.
