Mechsterion!
My very 1st chicken walker, and it's a Mysterion! And beware: this time it's a hostile one!
About this creation
Object 764

This object warped inside the "Terra Firma" complex, an open sky colony on Gamah-4, only a few hundred meters from a military installation.

Its behaviour showed its hostile intentions beyond doubt, as it strided right towards the installation.

A massive shield array made air strikes ineffective against the death machine, yet they revealed that its weapons could not fire through its own shields.

The military then deployed one of their most advanced Bio-Mechs, the BM-03 BloodShot (after its red "eyes")

The objects' mobile turrets revealed to be not only frontal shield emitters, but also markers of some kind. They fire a short ion blast that charges the target...

... the coils then unleash a dreadful arc lightning, attracted by ionized targets. The discharge was calculated of equal if not superior power than a natural lightning on Earth.

The Bio-Mech did not resist the first attack.

However, the pilot's training and cold blood allowed him to save his own life, and the data stored in the helmet. That data bas later transmitted to the U.M.R.C. for analysis (under a generous contract).

Using more forces to stale the intruder, the military lab was finally able to deploy some ionized drones to draw the terrible firepower of the machine, which at that point warped out, leaving behind a heap of expensive junk and charred bodies.

End of transmission

Back view. This object was obviously far less "mysterious", because it was seen in action and thus the function of its parts became self-evident.

Leg shot. I built 3 pairs of legs fot this, trying to find somethig never done before. In this case, 4 was the charm. It was very important that its legs were something never seen before, to make it more alien.

Front view

Shield array detail. Don't you just love those little horn-thingies in the shield emitter? I know I do :)

Bonus: a shot of the BM-03 "BloodShot"

I hope you liked this, it was quite a job :)

Well, that's quite the Mysterion theme: weird, clashing color combinations for the cube with black whatevers attached That's what makes them so much "alien". Of course there are variations :) For more info check out the "Mysterion Lovers" group http://www.mocpages.com/group_mocs.php?id=3526 I think you'll like the stuff there (Shannon Ocean's most of all)
I know whats the point of the thing, but i think that some times you could get out of the standart model for the sake of the creation.I think that,if it only had black and grey that cube would not be so ugly on him, but, because of the green it gets a really bad look,at least in my conception.

Great work Yuri, has always. But,i think the cube could use the same collor of the rest of the body,or at least have better collors, because those arent really good. They dont blend with the rest of the collor in the MOC,and i dont like them.Anyway,5/5.

Awesome, Yuri! I absolutely love the black spines on the back. I do have some constructive criticism, however (and please take it as constructive and only trying to help): First in this case, it seams a bit too busy, so I would try and clean it up a tad. Second, I noticed that you don't usually put the stripe on the cube like Ocean. I thought that was kind of important... Anyways, good luck in the election!

Quoting Marcus Forsberg I love the ferocious and spitfire kind of vibe this mech brings, very well put! I used to be a big Exo Force fan, this reminds me of that and suddenly I feel a strange urge to go look for my old Exo-sets in the attic...
An attic can be an awesome place... I found a whole space ship there, once :)

Quoting Knoll grey the legs are great for a first time chicken walker! the colorscheme is nice, especially the contrasting color of the mysterion cube itself! the lightning arrays and shield generators are also very well done.
Sure, yet as I said, even if this was indeed my 1st walker, those were already the 4th legs I made for it :p

Yuri, this is an awesome Mech. You'd die of laughter if you ever saw my one and only attempt at a mech, and no, you won't find a pic of it anywhere. :) I love your picture on the "Vote for Yuri" page, by the way. Good luck! And may the best man, or woman-child, win!

Sweet! Okay, I had to comment first, just once. I really like the mysterion theme, and your creative details make each one unique and fascinating. -Freela
