Izzo Inspired Mecha
I finally got my most recent order from Bricklink, which included the parts I needed to make an izzo style mech. This is based on his 17cm mech frame.

Awesomesauce! I love the use of SW parts (I'm guessing Obi-Wan's starfighter from ep2?) I also have been studying Izzo's stuff, and plan to post something using some of his techniques. I love the overall design, especially the head and legs:)

Very good mecha! I prefer mechs myself, but this takes nothing out of your MOC :)

Quoting Blake B. I don't see any problems on the Arms. I sorta agree with Dali, but this is pretty good for a first. I need more of those pieces you used on the fingers and elbows. (not droid arms, but the T shaped connector) If anyone knows what they're called, please tell me. I want to buy some on E-bay or something. overall:*****
The T-Pieces are from the pneumatic technic sets. The best place to get them is from a LEGO store (http://shop.lego.com/pab/) under the technic section or from bricklink http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=39373&colorID=86

Very good. It has it's own inique shape.

I agree with Dali. This is pretty good however, you can work on a few things. Try giving it a bit less bulk around some areas more than others. The colors are OK, but I suggest some edits. Keep it up.

Quoting Zach Baker I agree with Dali. Some of the shapes don't really flow. I also think that the legs are a bit too bulky, maybe move the bulkyness to the ankles? Oh, and the colors would look a lot better if they were organized (use less red or white, and then use it as an accent color). A very good start though!
Thanks for the good feedback and advice.

Quoting Mike 3579 Whicked Shweet! I like every thing (espicially the legs) exept for the arms. The shoulders are ok but the arms need some work. Still 5/5 though!
The arms are definitely something I will change in the next mech. I've already disassembled this one and redone the ankles and started redesigning the forearm and wrist.

Excellent start! I ordered my pieces a few days ago so I'll be able to start some good mechs.

Quoting Dali Zheng You're on the right track if you want to build anime mecha. The main design issue with this is that I feel that the shapes don't flow or work together very well, it seems like you put on a bunch of pieces that don't mesh with each other. That takes time and practice more than anything. Anyways, this is a good start.
Thanks for the feedback. This is my first anime mech, so any input is appreciated.
