Here is my take on a classic 70's import: the Volkswagen Scirocco. I posted both a stock version and tuned version. The tuned version is my entry for Midnight Club's Contest #3: Import Nights. Since this car is a pretty simple shape, it turned out to be a very real looking 4-wide (for a change!). See pic. 7 for a real '74 Scirocco, and scroll down from there for the tuned version. Please review, and thanks for looking!
Side view. Notice some distinguishable Scirocco traits, such as the long back window and the ridiculous rear bumper.
The tuned version is my entry for Midnight Club's Contest #3: Import Nights. It looks very similar to the stock version, perhaps because I like it so much that way ;) However the changes I made were unique. Essentially, all I did was:
1. Clean up the front by replacing the lights with flip-out ones.
2. Install 17 inch chrome rims.
3. Raise the back end.
4. Add outward-pointed exhaust headers.
5. Chrome-plate the rear lights.
6. Of course, add nitrous.
Here's a low-down front angle of the tuner...
... And a low-down rear angle.
Here's a street racing shot so that I can earn an extra 3 bonus points :) More of that other tuner can be seen here.
Very nice build! looks like a classic LEGO car set from the 80's... always love those classic small cars... keep on the great work my good friend >>> peace.. Firas

Nice. Gotta love the old 'Rocco. A great car that still commands a pretty good cult following here in the US. The 16-valve versions are nice and I've even heard of people trying to swap 2.0l Turbo VW engines into them. Of course that requires some significant bracing of the front subframe...but well worth it from what I hear. :-)
