About this creation

This is the first castle i have built in my kingdom. It was finished in August 1028, and was built outside of the village of Tyron (Now spelled Taironne) in the heart of Teirlant (Now spelled Tyrrland, lol). Its purpose is clearly to provide a home for the king and a major defense for the kingdom. It was quite short in these pictures, due to lack of bricks, though i have since gotten many more, and have updated the castle and reposted it.

I'm not sure why this got higher ratings than my updated version, but perhaps it looks more peaceful and lively, i guess. But really people, do the greatest of castles really look that lively?

Admiral Rodgers castles are better than this. But I can't deny this castle is O.K compared to Allington Castle.

Very well done, I like the tree and the whole courtyard. The way you planned it out and had all the pieces set out beforehand was great!

It looks very good. I like the way you integrated the Shrieking Shack into the courtyard without making it look out of place. I also really like the details of the carts/peasants. My only suggestion is to freshen up the walls a bit, so that they don't suffer from the Big Grey Wall syndrome. Try some ivy, or some offset architecture. Other than that, excellent.
