This is basically my first MOC after the end of my dark age. I was crazy enough to start with something this big... It took 4 years to build and it's not even finished yet. It's meant for minifigs and all the rooms inside are built. I want to install lego lights inside and the castle on top will contain an NXT missile firing system I'm still working on.

Quoting hayden brewer I would like to know how you and people like you can create such massive complex masterpeices.
It takes time. A lot of time. So much time. And money too. Or too much money.. depends how you see things. Creativity and engeneering skills. Et voilą... Well, almost... after 5 years, this one is still not finished ;-)

Quoting Alan Crisp 11 comments... this is one of MOCpages hidden jewels. If I had known about this MOC a while back... Anyway, this is what you have been building since coming out of your dark age? What were you doing in your dark age? Amassing great wealth while studying to be an architectural engineer? You work for NASA, don't you? Go ahead, admit it. This is just a plain awesome MOC, and the fact that you have built cranes for it is just one step more toward elite.
I don't work for NASA, bur for IT support. What I can tell you is that when I was 9 and a lego adict I took part in a lego competition about Disney, created a nice Nautilus from 20'000 leagues under the sea... and got fired because the judges said a child my age cannot create such a MOC by himself... I swear my father did not help me building these ships ;-)

Quoting Rags naRock Quite amazing, you definitely need to get a good camera and take lots of detailed pictures when you've got it all done. It's taken so long to make it, it deserves to have lots of glamor shots.
Thx for your comment. Indeed you are right and I will do this this summer. I have 1 month holliday and it the best of time to extend the fleet. BTW I love your mechs. I have seen some on brickshelf before and it's an inspiration to me.

Quoting Kieran Shaw Amazing, it reminds me of the ships from firefly. Love how its minifig scale. Is it armed or a pleasure cruiser?
Thanks for your comment. I have seen the TV show and the movie "firefly" and I don't tink it looks like the firefly ship. It's an exploration ship, in fact it's the flag ship. The top section (trans blue ark) is meant for fleet coordination and contains the admiral quarters. But it has teeth if you check carefully you will see the turrets. But it also has verry powerfull shield generators on each side (circle "strange sections"). Also it's been made to last and it's verry resiliant (in reality also). I moved recently and I have been able to move it in as it to the 3rd floor with no elevators with me on the front and one of my friend on the back side. I was affraid it could break... it complained, a few parts falled on the stairs, but it went through with almost no dammage.

Quoting GAR Commando kr0s' WOW! I'm speechless. is this in minfig scale, cause it looks it with the comparison from the aat's. A truly great MOC. I hope you keep it, defiantly worth a shelf of its own.
Hello. Thank you for your comment. Unfortunatly It's not planned to have it on shelf. But I will build the shipyard around it on the whole room. Check back this page in around 200 years to see it... ;-) It's minig scale indeed and all the rooms inside are almost finished. I will publish new pictures soon with the details (there's even a jacuzzi)

Quoting affliction . Completely beyond anything I'm capable of building. On another note, buy some shelves. you have no floor space left!
You are absolutly right regarding shelves... I just made some changes in my appartment and all the star wars will go back on shelves soon. Thx for your comment
