About this creation


It's a Brick World after all. This globe is build using around 4300 bricks and it measures 48 studs wide by 40 bricks high. I tried to make it as accurate as possible using paper, pencils and my old highschool atlas. Plates are used to give it more detail. Compared to other globes found on Internet I rotated the globe 10 degrees so the big continents like Africa and South America look better.

During the building process I learned a lot more about our precious planet, but the greatest part of this project are the dozens of questions my children ask when they explore this globe.
