VDS Universal Utility Chassis
With combat becoming for fierce as we expand, VDS built and now presents the Universal Utility Chassis. The UUC is a versatile unit that is capable of sporting a variety a different systems for different roles in military combat and can do all of it at 116 kph . The UUC features eight wheels, four primary and four auxiliary, of which can operate independently and up to three of the wheels can be fully disabled without affecting the normal operation and drive of the vehicle. Normally, the UUC is armed with a 30mm chain-gun for offensive and defensive purposes and can carry a fully armed squad of nine. Also, the largest of the engine mass is kept on the left side of the vehicle, a feature not too keen in most combat effective craft. Needing only a crew of two and easily handled controls, the UUC can be run by even the most low-ranked men in any militia. As of yet, there are no other variations of the unit, but that will soon be changed.

Quoting Joe Schmoe How do you fit that many troops in there? That is amazing! I need this http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/198529 to fit about 9 troops in. It is huge!
The internal bay stretches a majority of the way to the turret. So, I can rest two next to it and then utilize some good ol' Tetris maneuvering to position the rest. The main thing is to know in what directions will maximize space to rest the figs' arms. That's the critical thing. Being able to put a fig's arms in another fig's lap is what will win you space points.

Quoting Patrick Rafferty he has a point sardine, but there are things i would suggest in the apc spontanious. one is to make it so that the driver doesnot have to have his head exposed, and second is to make several variations and kits for it. because for the moment it doesnot look universal. overall color scheme is good, but not fantastic. if i had as many peices in similar colors as you do, i could think of at least ten better ways to make it have more space in the inside and still maintain compactness. 4/5 but also learn to deal with critisizm. not everyone is going to like your designs all the time, so dont lash out at every person who says something bad about your creation. try to fix problems instead of justifying mistakes.
Let's hear this again. Highnotes: A) If you are to critique something, please use proper English. I can't stand anything more than an individual that is attempting to convey a point, but can't take the decency of time to at least use Spell Check. A simple device meant to help, use it. B) This MOC is a year old. It has flaws, I get that. The sheer fact of the matter is I'm trying to enlighten and individual that may be a lightly informed. So if my notes of defense are "lashing out" please don't come back to my site. C) In point of the latter note, I have taken my course of computer applications and keyboarding. If I were to "lash out" I would begin utilizing Caps Lock as well as the use of exclamation marks. D) If I was worried about others criticizing my works, I would disable comments or just delete the ones that mark flaws in my creations. Common sense sure does point in this direction, don't you think?

Quoting Benjamin Sardine At first I thought, "sweet jesus that may be the coolest APC on mocpages." The lack of variations brought it down a little, but what really killed it is the fact that the troops cant actually stand inside the vehicle and that in order to meet your claims of nine troops they had to be packed in like sardines. Its just too horribly unrealistic that the troops have to crawl into the vehicle unarmed in order to fit.
Let me hit the high-notes of my defense: A) Troops don't stand up in any APC. No room for that. At best they have to be hunched over to dismount. B) Maximum capacity means they are packed together. Look at the M113 and its quite apparent that comfort isn't the main key to a combat vehicle. C) If you're talking about realism, then you would have noticed this is an IFV and not an APC.

With its shallow profile its actually deceptively large, I must say Iím liking this a lot for as with all your Mocís it quite original given the way you constructed the front driver quadrant.

Quoting Alex Ruiz There's a major design flaw, the main driver is exposed to sniper fire and other methods of attack. The rest is great but if the pilot gets sniped, then the team inside is done for. I suggest patching that up. The rest is okay. -Alex
If you hadn't noticed dozens of vehicles have exposed drivers/pilots. Also so, he doesn't have to have his head out, there is plenty of room form him to close the hatch.
