About this creation
You may recall the Warrior of the Wastes, and it's journey to Haven. Well, after they got rested up, and repaired their machine, they headed back to the Mediterranea. Upon their arrival, the Warrior was outfitted with thermal armor, and the crew was promptly shipped out with an expeditionary force to scout for resources in mid-to-northern Europe.
As you can see, this is essentially an arctic version of the Warrior of the Wastes. To keep with the style established by the original, I used ATV bodies as the lower legs (the previous Wastes version uses dirtbike shells). I'm also fairly pleased with the color blocking, if I do say so myself.
Oh yeah, this also has a one-up over the Wastes variant in one critical are: This one can stand up on its own. No supports or clips needed.

it sort of bares a striking resemblence to the Metal Gear REX from MGS |

I really like the design of this! Great use of parts. I think it's just me, but I'd like to see the feet bigger. Please check out some of my mecha:) |

Quite an improvement over the old one! The color scheme worked really well, that bit of red in the back is nice. Great sticker usage as well! |

Make it fight a deathclaw! just for fun though, cuz the deathclaw stands no chance whatsoever:> I mean, really, railgun against flesh! |

this thing looks really good. and the best part of it is that the under gun doesn't look like the mech is packin' (well, it is, but in a different way lol) |

I actually like the small feet, ignoring the 'winter' theme. With the bulky hips, it reminds me of the hunters from Half-Life 2 Ep 2. It's impressive that it's balanced well enough to stand on them, but I'd imagine it hurts the mech's ability to be posed and stay standing. |

Quoting General Warren.
Err, is the guy below mocking you, anyway cool, but mocpages slow!!!
No, Kevin is NOT mocking me. The previous version was NOT able to stand on it's own. |

I like the shape of the 'body', you integrated the sloped pieces well and makes it look really solid. I agree the feet look to small to make for a good snow mech, but I like the pieces you used on the thighs and using trikes for the lower legs seems to work pretty well. |

I like it, except for the feet they seem a little small for a snow mech |
