Tactical Strike/Recon design - TSR-IX - Shrike -- About the same size as the Peregrine. Seems my designs are slipping into a retro-50's style. This design was inspired by the Blackburn Buccaneer.
About this creation












Like the Peregrine, I was aiming for a smaller design. The forward fuselage is basically the same as the Peregrine. The goal was a smaller, fast craft, optimized for low level strike missions.

Armament:

2x 27mm 2-barrel cannon each w/600 rounds
2x Advanced Anti-Radar missiles - in retractable cell on the centerline. These weapons have stand-off capability w/a secondary anti-air mode.

Various weapons fits include:

4x Advanced Anti-Radar missiles on over-wing racks
4x Medium PG Standoff Weapons
4x MR missiles
2x LR Anti-Ship missiles (4 could be carried maximum)
1x Recon pod replaces the missile cell on the centerline station
