About this creation

a close up of the front suspension. Here it uses the old style 6.5 stud control arms. for the new 6 stud control arms you would need to use a 9 stud beam with a gear strip for the steering rack instead of a 10 stud steering rack, and modify the shock towers

this is the underside of the suspension. both front and rear suspension are nearly identical except or the steering rack in the front suspension. this chassis would also be easily adapted for 4 wheel steering.

although this chassis is rear engined, since the front and rear mirror each other, you can just as easily put the engine in front.

this is the first edition to my tech support group. it is an extremely simple 4WD chassis with independent suspension and simple 4 speed gearbox. it has no center differentail, but instead uses a clutch gear on each axle.

Excelent ! With 5+R gearbox, we don't need to have Universale join between the gearbox and axle, but I understand that you would build compact. So good frame and good transmission ! Can it be used in Truck Trial ?

Thank you for the ideas on the steering. I am making a Hummer Chassis right now and using the PF to make it move. Your design gave me some ideas to make her easier to build. As Jamie says on Mythbusters, "Simple is always better." Good job on sticking to that!

I havent ever build an axle with a diff lock, but here is an axle with a diff lock http://mocpages.com/moc.php/76226. and I will try to get some more pictures up when I have the time.
