Elerian/Meer'Jovin Explorer Transport
This was originally built in two days time for a contest in the Masters Group, but I missed the contest by a day. However, the challenge was great, and the result was great. Anyway, I was re-reading the Dark Horse comic series, "Dark Lords of the Sith", and got alot of inspiration from the ships in that series.
About this creation

Seen here is an Elerian female pilot. With her are three Meer'Jovin warriors who serve as additional crew. Their special passenger is an Elerian High Priest with his Elonquin Power staff.

The Meer'Jovin were a primitive race when the Elerians encountered them; a race obsessed with hunting the large and dangerous creatures of their homeworld. With space travel, the opportunity opened for them to travel to new worlds to hunt new prey. So, they came to be in the service of the Elerians as mercenary warriors in exchange for transport to other worlds to carry out their obsession.

The Elerians are not as advanced as the Gaians, or most other human space faring civilizations. But they do possess ARC Drive capability and have spread across many worlds in their home sector of the Centaurus arm of the galaxy.

The profile of this build really stood out to me. I think you did a really nice job on the over all design and gave it a unique look. Nice work! ~ Chris.

I'm totally floored by this innovating design! The overall impression of this ship is insane, ingenious and totally...awesome (for the lack of a better expression). Impressive!

Sorry, but my bad english only allowed me to write a simple review : I think this design is really appealing and uncommon, it's related to SW but also very personnal and enjoyable. Really a very nice work !!!

Quoting affliction . Are the tall wings on the rear in a fixed position? It looks like there's a few locking hinges connected at their middle, then they are connected to a hinge brick at the bottom. If they are, can you provide some enlightenment as to how you got the studs on those hinge bricks to line up? And if brickforge and custom decals are acceptable, there's no reason cloner minifigs shouldn't be. It's only wrong if you use a shape or color brick that Lego doesn't make. Somewhere in by Lego bin, there is a single 1x6 dark olive green Tyco brick whos origins are less than clear :P
Wow! Now that's a great question. The large wings are fixed. And you kindof answered your own question --> The free gliding hinge piece at the base of the wing allows me to adjust the wings at almost any angle; the click hinge pieces that connect the center of the wing to the top of the ship act as structural support to those wings, which are heavy, and the bottom hinge pieces allow me to adjust the wing to the right angle to properly connect with the click hinge pieces in the middle. These wings are fixed both to keep them connected, and for stylistics. (This will not work with click hinge pieces at the top and middle, nor will it work with smooth glide hinges at both spots. It only works with the combo of the two) I was inspired by the ships from a Dark Horse comics series of the Old Republic. As for the whole clone thing, I am right there on the same page. Everyone who has taken a sharpie marker to their clone troopers or made a cape from cloth stolen from their mother's sewing kit is probably about as guilty as I am, in my opinion. I used to have some Tyco bricks too from the early 80s... all lost in the darkest corner of my "etc." bin. If you have other questions about building, hit me with them...

Quoting Rock n' Roll Minifig Great ship, makes me wish i had the old millennium falcon set. the megbloks drags the rating down to a three, megabloks are awful ripoffs of lego and should rever be used. if i were you i would melt them and film it and put it up on youtube. but thats just me. and i like cows
I appreciate the bigotry against clone brands and the reasons behind that separation of Lego vs other. I mean, Lego is superior in every way, it is the "master creation", if you will. The other brands do not have the right to exist. But, I have seen master builders (who are far better than myself and many other builders I have seen) use Megabloks and other clone brands to do some creative stuff. So, I am not so opposed to broadening my horizons. I maintain strict segregation of Lego and cloners, but as you can see, when the experimental mood strikes me, I will subtly integrate clones into my MOCs. I realize that this sight is a Lego sight, and you will notice that I only used 4 minifigs. There are no clone bricks in this MOC. And, I have a hard time liking cows; I like beef, but I have spent far too many years working with cattle to appreciate cows (I own a working ranch amongst the many other things that I do for a living). All that aside, let us focus on the MOC itself, and provide constructive criticism on the construct.

Quoting Moses Mohsen The ship is nice, but once I saw the mega blocks I was like, "I like cows." Then I'm like,"ew megablocks." The ship is good, but the Megablocks= =( ~Moses P.S. The ship is AWESOME!
Allow me to reassure you and everyone else, there are only 4 megablock figures involved here. ALL OTHER parts are Lego.

First comment! Great job! Nice choice of colors, my only complaint is the Mega-Blocks.
