EAF-06 "Theseus"
About this creation
The Theseus is one of the newest units in the EA arsenal, produced by the almost unknown Triton Dynamics, which have gained quite a reputation thanks to this attack craft.

Classified as MultiRole Starfighter (MRS), the EAF-06 is an hybrid between a space superiority fighter and a light attack bomber. Its four railguns are of the same model equipped on the -03 Odysseus, while the two larger guns are a new variant of the standard Gauss cannon used on gunships, which is extremely useful for attacks against armoured units. Theseus fighters are often used to ambush troop transports, whose low speed and heavy armour makes them the perfect prey for those fighters.

Another innovation brought by Triton Dynamics are the four ECx drilling explosive capsules. Those weapons can pierce with relative ease the armour of most warships, with a pilot-controlled explosion command, making them the perfect choice to heavily damage essential subsystems like engines, sensors or communication.

The -06 doesn’t fear combat with other fighters, though the lack of a large engine exhaust like the one present on the Aeneas and the Teucer limits its manoeuvrability in battle. Its four railguns are however still good for slicing enemy crafts.
