MOCcomparison: Spacecraft
My third MOCcomparison. This time with JD Luse! Come check it out!
About this creation

Blogged

This thing was really hard to build! The transition from 7 studs wide to 12 was the most complicated part. I went crazy with the S.N.O.T. work. The whole ship is basically hollow on the inside.

I really don't like the pieces near the window, but it was the only way I could cover up the gap.

As you can see, SigIrish Figgy is very pleased with his ride.

The reason for the transition from 7 to 12 studs.

This is the ship JD and I made. I wanted to add those yellow pieces on the side, but what was I going to use to stick them there? Glue? I'm a purist!

JD's is here.

You guys didn't go easy on yourselves! The ship you both tried to replicate looks really difficult. I like your answer for the cockpit and your coloring and front grill are both very nice.

Very well done, I think you captured the essence of the ship nicely. I will have to give the nod to JD though - his is that much closer to the original. Lee.

Nicely done Chas, you both did a fantastic job in capturing the unique shape of this ship. I think that I will have to give JD's ship the upper hand because I liked the was he used curved pieces instead of slope. You both did a great job though. -Dylan
