1974 Ford Torino from "Starsky & Hutch"
4-wide version of the classic car from "Starsky & Hutch." Minifigs included!
About this creation
Here's my take on the '74 Ford Torino from the TV series "Starky and Hutch." It is an entry for Everything Cars Second Contest: Make a Star Car. This Torino features some distinguishable details, such as the front grille, back bumper, and the white stripe on the side. See pic. 9 for the real "Starsky & Hutch" Torino. Please review, and thanks for looking!

Front view. Notice the chrome grille.

Side view. Notice the famous white stripe on the side. I'm rather pleased with how it turned out.

Back view.

Low-down front angle.

Low-down rear angle.

Here they are: Starsky and Hutch!

A shot of the two chillin' by their car.

The real 1974 Ford Torino.

Quoting Grace Parks Hey, where did u find the jackets to make Starsky and hutch? I've looked everywhere and can't find them? Thanks for sharing yours. It's fab.
Brown jacket: http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/1256-1 Black jacket: http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/3403-1 That's where I got mine. You can click on the individual parts to see all the kits they were available in.

torino? i think it s very hard to make one at this scale! but your car color scheme is very cool! if you could cook up one of your famous body kits+mag wheels this minifig car could rock! compared to the best you did, this just looks unfinished, but promising!

Nice! I'm not too particular with old Ford (Opel, actually). In any way, it is quite simple, yet fantastic.

My favorite part is probably the stripe. I especially like the shot of the figs in front of their car ^_^

I know. I like the style, but some people consider this a minifig scale car.

Quoting Chas Irish Nice car! How come a minifig sized car is considered to be this? Don't you think it should be a car that can hold the same amount of minifigs as the real car?
This is classic LEGOŽ style car building: only large enough for one fig. I think it's an art of its own :)

I saw one of these at a car convention a couple years back. It was a beauty, and yours is no exception. Great work! 5/5!
