Ya it can kill if the tip of the round was sharp and you HIT the main artery in the neck other than that it can not kill. its simple physics as well.

You haven't taken physics, have you? Because if you have, I'm pretty sure you could have explained this power unexpectedness. Force, to an Airsofter, is how much the bullet hurts. Force is the mass of the bullet, times its acceleration, and man did this mechanism provide a crap-load of acceleration, even though there was only a little mass. This explains the power of your gun. All this being said, it is hardly needed for me to give a positive comment on the mechanics you put into this gun. Good job.

I would love to see a video of it in action. Nice build, though.

REALLY nice! I think it is powerful because the bold goes very far to the rear, and follows the bullet until the end of the barrel, which makes the bullet fly faster. Very interisting technique, gotta try it myself!

This thing rocks! but it has such small ammunition.

This is very accurate for a working rifle. do you have to place the "bullet" in the firing mechanism after each shot or is there a cartridge of some kind? Either way it looks really fun!

When the trigger is pulled, does it fire? Or do u just let go of the wheel thing when its pulled back?

Not bad, between 3 and 4. There is another builder who does rather excellent HALO guns in full size, but I forget the name. Try a search maybe? Anyway, mechanism is fine, try adding a small integral magazine that would push bricks up into the chamber area, as each was fired. As for the airsoft comment, clearly you have not seen serious airsofters. A decent gun for $200 or so will get you over 150 feet of range and about a joule of power.

Have you ever tried to load three rounds and fire them? That's what comes out of the battle rifle with one pull, no?

As you said, it's not very accurate, but the firing mechanism is excellent. I could imagine this would be about as poerful as an airsoft rifle!
