About this creation

This is my virtual LEGO® rendition of the central elements from the painting "Liberty Leading the People" by Eugčne Delacroix (1830).

If you’re wondering where I got the piece for the female torso, I downloaded it from the Holly-wood custom parts page.

The inspiration for this MOC:

* Note: The original painting that inspired this MOC was about the French July Revolution of 1830, not the French Revolution (1789-1799), as is the popular misconception.

* My original version of this MOC may be found here.

* As usual, the program I used to build this is LeoCAD.

I then converted it to an .ldr file and rendered it with LDView.

My only words of complaint, are that there should be a much bigger body-count! Besides that, looks great. Go, topless standard bearers, go!

Quoting Fell Skyhawk Wow! Nice. Maybe make her dress a yellow kinda color like the painting and move some of the bodies closer together or add more to give it that chaotic look of war the painting gives. This is really good though.

I might try that. I'm also thinking about using photoshop techniques to make the final picture look more "aged".
