If you want to create a city of this caliber, it wont come without a bit of money (unless you have A LOT of LEGOs) and a lot of time. If you do have some spending money or your parents want to support your hobby, check out www.BRICKLINK.com with them. You can buy any LEGO piece imaginable in any quantity. A lot of builders who create large MOC's use that site to buy the pieces they need. As for creating the city once you have all the LEGOs, that's entirely up to you, whatever kinds of buildings you think will look best. I like to search through other people's cities and buildings to find inspiration when I want to make a new building. Remember though, don't expect to create the world's best LEGO building your first time. Take it slowly, for example if your making a house, once you get to the windows, maybe try one window and see if you like it, then try another style (maybe add some shades in, etc.) until you find the way that you think looks best. When I build a building, I will sometimes try out a bunch of different ideas. For example, I might throw an arch in over one of my windows to see how it looks, and maybe if I don't like that style I'll just keep the window normal. Mabe I want to add a small stoop (those stairs in front of houses) to the front of my building, but when its done maybe I didn't like my color choice of brown so I change it to grey to give it a more concrete feel. But I will say it again, you won't turn a pile of leftover LEGOs from a couple sets into a City this big, it will cost money to acquire all the pieces. That's why a lot of people here spend some of the money they make from their jobs on this wonderful hobby! Hopefully this helped! As for the pictures Sean, I'm sure you know by know I love your stuff, especially this City. I'm "borrowing" your road designs if you don't mind, I like using the studded plates better then the tiles, I don't know why, the tiles give it too much of a "clean" look.

this is one of the most intricate and detailed citys i have ever seen!!!! PLEASE tell me where you get all of your peices i'm running out and every thing is so expensive!! Once again your city is amazing i love all the labels and signs
